Valeriede is a duelist and executioner who relies on ramping damage to defeat enemies while at the same time restoring her own HP. Valeriede's attack power stems from her first passive skill, Fervent Blaze, which raises her ATK the more HP she has remaining. This makes her a prime target for your attackers since even not killing her outright nullifies a lot of the damage she could potentially deal to your team.

Witch of Conflagration

Valeriede's last passive skill gives her a Regeneration ability that kicks in once her HP goes below 40%. This heals her HP by up to 20% per turn until she gets back to 90% of her total HP. As long as you have a very powerful attacker on your team, however, this regeneration ability is not enough to keep Valeriede alive by itself.

Nina

Valeriede won't be able to damage your witches if she can't hit them in the first place. Fielding Nina and pairing her with a witch that can boost her EVD like Dian will make her impossible to hit for Valeriede, who will need to be boosted with ACC runes to even have a chance of hitting her.

Even if Valeriede does manage to hit her once, the damage will still be negligible because of how each of Valeriede's attacks deals relatively low damage.

Soltina

Her multi-barriers should be able to take most of Valeriede's blows, and those that do manage to get through wouldn't be enough to outright defeat her.

Dian

Dian's EVD boosts for herself and your main attacker can be very helpful with avoiding most of Valeriede's attacks, blunting her potential damage, and giving your team just enough breathing space to take her out.

Moddey

Moddey's damage takes a long time to ramp up and she could end up getting overwhelmed by Valeriede if she does not have any support.

Lunalynn

Lunalynn by herself will also not last long against Val because of how she relies on Poison to deal damage over time, and Val could also overwhelm her with damage.

Ivy

If Valeriede hits her first and does not go after her allies, Ivy could end up getting defeated first, especially if her first skill goes after another one of Valeriede's teammates instead.

Tips for Beating 【The Witch of Conflagration】Valeriede

Boost Your EVD

Your best bet in surviving Valeriede's attacks is by boosting your EVD so that you can avoid a majority of her attacks, which could protect you from a lot of damage. This is why characters like Nina and others are highly effective against her.

Get Characters With Multi-Barriers and Shields

If you don't have any high EVD witches, your second-best alternative is to get witches who provide shields or multi-barriers like Soltina, Fortina, or Priscilla. Those shields could protect against a majority of Val's attacks and blunt her overall damage.

Get Healers or Characters With Life Steal Abilities

If you have neither of the counters mentioned above, then at the very least get a witch that has a high HP drain stat so that they can both damage Val, lowering her ATK buffs, while healing themselves at the same time.
