Winter Soltina buffs her allies with undispellable ATK and ACC buffs. She has high damage potential, is capable of dispelling debuffs and inflicting [Fainted], and is one of the fastest units in the game. She can be hard to deal with, mainly because she can cleanse debuffs from herself, so you will have to focus on dealing as much damage as possible to take her out before her team gets too challenging to deal with.

Winter Soltina's most significant threat to you is how she strengthens the enemy team's main attacker by increasing their ATK and ACC. Though it's supposed to last for just 4 turns, it becomes virtually permanent if the enemy's main attacker is a Crimson or Emerald Soul witch (Cordie or Fia) since it lasts 32 turns, and a PvP battle can end way before that.

Another big threat is her ability to inflict the [Fainted] debuff on a single target, stopping her enemy from attacking for one turn. However, her chance to inflict this debuff is 40%, so there's a good chance your witches will get off scot-free. If they survive the initial attack, they can counterattack against Winter Soltina's team.

Little Sister’s Love

The hardest part of dealing with Winter Soltina is how she can shrug off debuffs from your team. Little Sister's Love cleanses all of her debuffs if she ends up having 2 or more debuffs. However, this can be countered by simply hitting her with just one debuff (by having just one debuffer in your party). For example, if you have Lunalynn cast [Silence] on Winter Soltina, her cleanse won't trigger as long as one of your other witches does not inflict a debuff on her.

Another thing that makes inflicting debuffs on Winter Soltina is her SPD. Her second passive skill, "Heartwarming Memories," increases her SPD by up to 30%, allowing her to grant buffs to her team's main attacker while outspeeding your own team's debuffer. You can try to debuff her SPD with characters like Sabrina, but she will almost always have an SPD advantage in the first turn of battle.

Fia

Fia and other witches like Ophelia and Amleth, who use the strength of their enemies against them, can be good counters versus Winter Soltina. In Fia's case, her Grim Retribution deals one direct attack equal to 10% of the total damage taken by her over the past 20 turns to random enemies. If Winter Soltina buffed her team and it hits Fia, Fia can deal it back to 2 random enemies. She also has a passive that increases the Counter of the ally with the lowest SPD. If Fia is the target, her Counter increases from 20-30%.

Merlyn

Merlyn and other cleansers can remove Winter Soltina's [Fainted] debuff from her allies, keeping your team's main attacker up and running during the battle.

The team consists of Winter Amour, Fia, Merlyn, Yuni, and Ophelia, who leverage a combination of high damage output, healing, and debuffing capabilities to effectively combat Soltina's threats. Ophelia's physical damage, Fia's counter and durability, and Amour's potential for critical hits can quickly whittle Soltina's health. Merlyn's dispelling abilities can counter Soltina's debuffs, while Yuni's healing ensures the team's sustainability.

This team composition increases the team's overall SPD. Meria and Primavera provide an SPD buff for the team. Please note that for Meria to apply this buff, she needs to get her Unique Weapon and maintain 3 same souls that survive. In this case, we did 3 Radiance soul characters. Rusalka can deal significant damage and debuff Winter Soltina's team, weakening their offensive and defensive capabilities. Summer Amleth would also provide serious damage and survivability. Fortina, on the other hand, offers powerful healing, shield, and support abilities, improving the team's survivability.

Witches Not To Use Against [Heartwarming Memories] Soltina

Low DEF Characters: Winter Soltina's Ice Cascade deals excellent physical damage, so characters with DEF will be vulnerable to her attacks. Only use units that rely on their offensive capabilities with proper defensive support.

Characters with Low Speed: Winter Soltina can potentially act before your slower units as she is one of the fastest units in the game.

Tips for Beating [Heartwarming Memories] Soltina

Add Characters that can increase Critical Hit Chance

You need to improve your team's damage overall with buffs. Use characters like Winter Amour to increase an ally's ATK and ACC and boost the critical hit chance of an ally with the highest SPD. Doing so will help the team to boost damage against Winter Soltina and her team.

Use Debuff Cleansers

Since you can't remove Winter Soltina's buffs, you can use a character that can dispel her [Fainted]. Characters like Merlyn can cleanse the debuff and increase its critical hit chance.

Use Tanks That Can Endure Winter Soltina's Attacks

It would be best to employ characters that can withstand Winter Soltina's attacks. Characters like Amleth or Ophelia are such characters.
