Eirene has skills that decrease cooldown, dispel debuffs, and enhance her basic attacks, further increasing her damage. However, Eirene also has limitations. Her AoE attacks target enemies randomly, potentially missing key targets. Astrum Natalis has a delayed activation, requiring 3 uses of Astrum before it becomes available. Furthermore, the cooldown on Contract of the Night restricts its frequent use, and the [Force Field] may not always target the most beneficial ally.

Astrum

Weathered Shot inflicts substantial physical damage to 4 random enemies. It significantly weakens enemy defenses, making subsequent attacks more effective. This debuff is particularly potent in specific game modes where it cannot be dispelled. However, despite the skill of targeting 4 random enemies, you are not sure that it will hit the enemies you want to hit.

On the other hand, Astrum unleashes multiple physical attacks on random enemies. After using Astrum three times, it transitions to Astrum Natalis, which delivers a devastating attack on the enemy with the highest ATK. It temporarily increases ACC. Both Astrum and Astrum Natalis scale with Eirene's ATK. However, the Astrum Natalis only activates after using the Astrum three times, which can limit its immediate impact in specific combat scenarios.

Contract of the Night

Contract of the Night enhances Eirene's combat by boosting her basic attack power and accelerating her skill usage. Each basic attack performed while this skill is active reduces skill cooldowns by 1 turn. This skill removes one or two debuffs from Eirene and significantly boosts Eirene's basic attack damage and, on higher levels, the attack of the ally with the lowest SPD. However, the 3-turn cooldown period significantly limits the frequency with which the skill can be activated.

I'm Cheering You On! focuses on enhancing Eirene's survivability and providing crucial protection to an ally. This skill grants a [Force Field] to the ally with the lowest SPD, reducing the damage they take. This [Force Field] cannot be dispelled. However, [Force Field] has a 4-turn cooldown, limiting its use.

Cordie

Cordie can deal massive single-target damage, quickly eliminating Eirene before she can significantly impact the battle. Fanning Shots can quickly chip away at Eirene's health and potentially trigger its bonus damage if Cordie's HP is low. Cordie also has significant offensive and defensive boosts, which make her attacks more impactful. Aside from that, Cordie has [Debuff Immunity], which makes her less susceptible to Eirene's debuffs.

Soltina

Soltina counters Eirene due to her high single-target damage, powerful AoE attacks, and strong defensive buffs. Her ability to cleanse debuffs and mitigate damage further enhances her effectiveness against Eirene. She also has [Sleep] and [Fainted], which can stop Eirene from inflicting damage.

Witch Illya

Witch Illya possesses strong single-target damage potential and valuable defensive and offensive utility. Her ability to dispel buffs and significantly damage a single target helps disrupt Eirene's attacks. Witch Illya's The Angel Who Bears 0 skill provides strong survivability by reducing damage taken and offering a chance to survive with 1 HP.

Use High ATK Characters

Use characters with strong ATK stats to maximize damage output. Eirene's DEF reduction won't affect characters that focus on offensive capabilities.

Debuff Immunity

Include characters that have abilities to resist or are immune to debuffs, like Cordie. This can help mitigate the impact of Eirene's DEF reduction.

Employ Dispellers

While you can't dispel some of Eirene's buffs, use characters who can remove other buffs from her or her allies to reduce their effectiveness.
