This is a walkthrough for the Mission Global Presence, Captain America's Iconic Mission in Marvel's Avengers (game). See all mission objectives, chest locations, as well as tips and strategy and a list of enemies.

| Description | Captain America has intel that AIM's about to launch a brand new line of adaptoids. He needs to gatecrash their main New York lab and destroy the project before it ships. |
| Objectives | |

| 1 |  Open up your Tactical Awareness and head southwest to a spot marked by "?". Battle the special enemy there. |
| 2 |  Head to the main objective to rescue the Resistance team. Then, open up your Tactical Awareness to head to the 2nd "?" a little to your northwest. Head over there to battle some enemies and pick up some loot along the way. |
| 3 | Proceed to the next objective marker. Defeat the AIM elite squad here to proceed to the next area via the elevator. |
| 4 | Go through the next area. JARVIS will alert you of a special treasure in the middle of the room. |
| 5 |  On the second floor where you found the two switches, there's a smashable door that leads to a Resistance prisoner. Rescue the prisoner. |
| 6 |   Head to the 3rd area, where you will be tasked to activate a panel and destroy the door that corresponds to that panel. In doing so, Adaptoids will be released for you to battle. |
| 7 |  Head to the next area and activate your Tactical Awareness. Head to the "?" markers found to the east of the area. Start with the closest one to the east for a special enemy there and some loot. |
| 8 |   Then, head to the next "?" marker to rescue a Resistance prisoner. To access the room, hit the switch outside the locked door. |
| 9 |  Go to the next objective marker and rescue the remaining Inhumans. |
| 10 |  Head over to the next objective marker and defeat the enemies there. Ride the elevator and defeat the Adaptoids on the roof deck to end the mission. |
The Adaptoids should be your sole focus. While the Elite Synthoids will still be difficult, the Adaptoid's attacks will be far more painful to deal with. Be on the defense, and attack only when the Adaptoids are open.
This treasure room is found in the area after your ride the first elevator. There are four switches scattered around the room.

|
Basic enemy that can be easily dealt with by combos. |
 Prime Adept Synthoid
|
They have uninterruptible attacks so time your dodge as they attack and counter back. |
 Cryo Synthoid
|
Basic enemy that can be dealt with by combos. Be wary of its chilling attack. |
 Elite Synthoid
|
They dodge and have uninterruptible laser attacks. Dodge and counter. |
 Proto-Synthoid
|
Use combos to deal in damage then dodge when they execute their attacks. |
 Keeper
|
They have slow recharge times so get closer to them and beat them with melee attacks. |
 Aero Keeper
|
Use ranged attacks to defeat them quickly. |
 Cryo Keeper
|
Use ranged attacks but dodge whenever they fire their projectiles since it can freeze you. |
 Swarm Drone
|
Dispose quickly by using ranged attacks. |
 Security Drone
|
Dispose quickly by using ranged attacks. |
 Adaptoid
|
Use support heroics whenever possible as these enemies are sturdy. Alternate between quick attacks and dodging whenever they strike back. |
 Prime Aegis Synthoid
|
Use strong attacks to pierce through its block. |
 SPIN Synthoid
|
Dodge their projectiles to avoid losing heroic charges and take them out as soon as possible. |
 SPIN Keeper
|
Take them out as soon as possible as they can drain your heroic charges. |
 Assault Adaptoid
|
Watch out for the continuous damage dealt by its aura while using melee attacks then back out and use ranged attacks when you are low on health. |
