This is a walkthrough for the Mission Blast From The Past in Marvel's Avengers (game). See all mission objectives, chest locations, and tips and strategy for beating the boss.

| Description | There's a disturbance in this region. Help SHIELD neutralize the threat! |
| Objectives | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Go forward and fight the enemies as you go. Battle the special AIM unit marked by JARVIS. |
| 2 |  Defeat the enemy squad in the next area. |
| 3 | In the next area, battle the enemies along the corridors and into the next room. |
| 4 | Once all the enemies are defeated in this circular room, three new doors will open. One of them leads to the elevator to the next area. Two of them leads to loot and a special AIM unit. |
| 5 |  Take the door on the left side to get the loot. The door on the right leads to the special AIM unit. Once you're done, head to the center door to go to the next area. |
| 6 |  Access the panel in this area and fight Taskmaster. Defeat him to end the mission. |
There's a lot of bulky enemies here especially Exos. Having your full offensive arsenal will help make this mission easier. This would also help in the boss fight later on.

 Prime Adept Synthoid
|
They have uninterruptible attacks so time your dodge as they attack and counter back. |
 Elite Synthoid
|
They dodge and have uninterruptible laser attacks. Dodge and counter. |
 Riotbot
|
Use charged attacks to break their shields or vault over their back to attack their weak spot. |
 Purge Keeper
|
They fire poisonous projectiles so dodge it quickly. Close the gap and strike with combos. |
 Peacekeeper
|
Be quick with your attacks since they teleport when you strike them from close range. When they charge their shots, time your dodges as it means they will unleash a wide-arcing multiple shots. |
 Monotronic Exo
|
Be careful of powerful attacks that may cause you to stagger. Dodge and counter its attacks. |
 Cryotronic Exo
|
Be careful of powerful attacks that may cause you to freeze. Dodge and counter its attacks. |
 Plague Drone
|
Dispose quickly by using ranged attacks. |
 Security Drone
|
Dispose quickly by using ranged attacks. |
 Taskmaster
|
Alternate between close range when he uses ranged and ranged when he closes in on you. When given the chance to grapple, use it to deal quick damage. |
 Dreadbot
|
Destroy the side turrets first and attack from behind to exploit its weakness. |
 Blitz Proto-Synthoid
|
Before it explodes, it will stop for a few seconds. Destroy it quickly during this opening. |
 Skydog
|
Sturdier compared to the other aerial enemies so use heavy attacks to quickly dispose of it. |
 Shockmutt
|
Dispose of the shield to land in solid hits. Dodge its power attacks and counter. |
 Hellhound
|
Alternate close range and ranged attacks whenever he stops using his flamethrower. |
 Adept Drone
|
Dispose quickly by using ranged attacks. Has a high dodge rate than most drones. |
This will be one of the missions where you can battle Taskmaster again.
Similar to other missions where you battle him, he will summon his Watchdogs whenever the battle goes against his favor. Once the Watchdogs come in, focus on them first before returning to attack Taskmaster.
Stay away and use ranged and let your other heroes deal with it. Using Iron Man with his mini-rockets and Unibeam and Black Widow with her High-Caliber Shots would work well here.
Use your Heroics whenever necessary to deal with Taskmaster's high Willpower.
