This is a walkthrough for the Mission Mistaken Identity, Thor's Iconic Mission, in Marvel's Avengers (game). See all mission objectives, chest locations, as well as tips and strategy and a list of enemies.

| Description | Someone claiming to be Thor has started a cult made up of former AIM scientists called The Woken. Thor must head to Scandinavia to uncover their true plot. |

| Optional |  As you land, head to the northwest to find a special opponent that will be marked by JARVIS. Defeat it for some special gear. |
| 1 |  Head to the objective to find the Woken Altar. Examine it and battle the enemies that appear. |
| 2 |  Exit the Altar Cave and head to the east to fight some enemies nearby an AIM building. |
| 3 | Back to the exit of the Altar Cave, go slightly west to battle some enemies in a bunker style building. Do the same to the other bunker building further west. |
| 4 | Head towards the second objective point and battle the enemies there. |
| 5 |  Head to the huge AIM building and battle the enemies there. Clear out the wave before hitting the switches to activate the elevator. |
| 6 |  Head inside and descend the elevator and head to the room beyond. Battle the enemies in the next room. Defeat the special Woken unit to end the mission. |
Many of the enemies here have unblockable attacks, so dodging them will be your best bet. Massive waves of Stiletto Riotbots are common so make sure you have attacks that allow you to counter after you dodge.
Make sure that you have attacks that are able to clear out huge crowds and take out enemies fast. Thor's Warrior's Fury as well as Hulk's Thunderclap will prove invaluable here, as well as Black Widow's Veil of Shadows as a way to prevent damage.
This is located northeast of the exit of the altar of the Woken. Here are their locations:

|
Basic enemy that can be easily dealt with by combos. |
 Riotbot
|
Use charged attacks to break their shields or vault over their back to attack their weak spot. |
 Stilleto Riotbot
|
Use charged attacks to break their shields or vault over their back to attack their weak spot. |
 Keeper
|
They have slow recharge times so get closer to them and beat them with melee attacks. |
 Elite Peacekeeper
|
Close the gap immediately to prevent them from using their attacks. They also have higher attack than most Keepers so time your dodge properly. |
 Adaptoid
|
Use support heroics whenever possible as these enemies are sturdy. Alternate between quick attacks and dodging whenever they strike back. |
 Cryo Adaptoid
|
Use support heroics whenever possible as these enemies are sturdy. Alternate between quick attacks and dodging whenever they strike back. |
 SPIN Synthoid
|
Dodge their projectiles to avoid losing heroic charges and take them out as soon as possible. |
 Adept Keeper
|
Close the gap in order to prevent them from using their homing attacks . |
 Blitz Proto-Synthoid
|
Before it explodes, it will stop for a few seconds. Destroy it quickly during this opening. |
 Phase Riotbot
|
It is invulnerable while phasing so just parry its attacks to get an opening. |

From the 2nd chest, hug the mountain well on your left. As you get closer to the northern most part of the map, you will see this chest at the corner. |

Head northeast from where the special AIM unit was and you can find this chest. |

This is found at the water-filled area just before the entrance to the altar of the Woken. |

Just follow the first objective marker. It's behind the altar of the Woken. |

This chest is on a platform attached to a tree. It's a little to the north of the exit of the altar of the Woken. |

You can find this chest on a vehicle just before you reach the AIM building to the northeast. |

Head far east after exiting the Woken Altar and go to the nearby building. This is behind a breakable wall at the back of the building. |

Solve the puzzle at the building and enter the room to get this chest. See the Tips and Strategy section to know the location of the switches. |

This is northeast from the AIM building where the previous treasure was. |

Head back to the exit of the Woken Altar cave and go just slightly to the west to find a bunker with a door that can be opened with a switch. Inside is the chest. |

Head further west from the exit of the Woken Altar cave to find another bunker with a breakable wall this time. Inside is another chest. |

This is found on one of the platforms attached to a tree near the gate leading to the 2nd objective marker. |

Head to the second objective marker. Inside one of the small rooms to the right after the gate, you can locate this chest. |

Just before you reach the huge AIM building, this chest is behind one of the smaller buildings. |

This chest is on the upper ledge of the entrance of the huge AIM building, just where your second objective marker is. |
