List of Contents
Vault Missions are unlocked by earning vault info upon completing other Vault Missions. The first Vault Mission is the Missing Links which is part of the campaign. By accomplishing that and earning more vault info, you unlock more Vault Missions. One of those unlockable Vault Missions is the Snowy Tundra Mission.
|Mission||Snowy Tundra Vault|
|Reward||Rare or Better Gear|
|Description||The Resistance has discovered the hidden location of another SHIELD Vault, but AIM is in the area. The Avengers must recover its contents before AIM can interfere.|
|1||Locate the hidden SHIELD vault.|
|2||Move forward to the nearest AIM building to battle some enemies.|
|3||Battle some enemies to a nearby facility to the north-east. Return afterwards to first building.|
|4||Continue past the building for more enemies. There will be a SHIELD agent in need of rescue a little bit to the west (location may change to north-east).|
|5||There will be pockets of enemies to the east, north-west, and far north in separate facilities. Locate the small buildings/encampments to find chests inside/nearby. Each one may have a switch puzzle to solve for certain rewards.|
|6||There will be no objective marker in this mission and instead, you have to search for the secret SHIELD vault.|
|7||Once you locate the vault, enter the bunker and you will tasked to operate a main terminal. It will ask then for a numbered code.|
|8||There are five separate numbered subterminals scattered all over the bunker. Memorize the location of each one.|
|9||Based on the code given by the main terminal (displayed on the wall), you have to stand on each terminal. You'll need to stand on a subterminal, and after, go back to the main one before going to the next subterminal, then back to the main terminal again.|
You'll have to accomplish this three times to access the interior of the vault, with each one having more subterminals to step on.
With each sequence, there will be enemies of varying strength, from Riotbots to Adaptoids.
|11||After repeating the process twice more, the vault will open and you will have access to three chests. Then, there will be a terminal at the end which will end the mission once accessed.|
Since there are a lot of enemies in this level, ranged attacks will be your best friend here. Iron Man will find that his rockets are a great asset in thinning out the crowd.
If you still have some of the Cryo-resistant gear that you acquired in the first time you entered Snowy Tundra, then, it will be useful now. Just make sure you pair it up with better equipment since your defensive rating may suffer due to its lower level and quality.
