Is Avengers Backwards Compatible?
This is a guide to whether or not Marvel's Avengers (game) is backwards compatible between PS4 and PS5 and whether or not it's possible to transfer save files between the two.

Is Avengers Backwards Compatible?

PS4 to PS5

Sony has confirmed that PS4 games are backwards compatible with the PS5. This means that you will be able to play Marvel's Avengers for the PS4 on the PS5. This includes digital copies bought in the PS Store.

Xbox One to Xbox Series X

Xbox Series X.jpg
Xbox Series X and S is confirmed to have backwards compatibility with Xbox One titles. If you have Marvel's Avengers for Xbox One, you can play it on the next-gen consoles.

How To Transfer Save File to PS5

Transfer Save to ps5

You will be able to transfer save file from PS4 to PS5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series X, but as of now, there is no confirmed method how to do it. It may have something to do with the Square Enix account made, or through transferring data via PSN and Xbox Live profiles.

Transfer Save Between Systems

There is no way to transfer saves from PS to Xbox or vice versa. You can only transfer within the same ecosystem.
