How To Unlock Yellow Doors

What Are The Yellow Doors?

These doors are most often found in War Zones in buildings and depots. They are quite unique as they hold rare strongboxes within that can give you rare resources and better gear. Sometimes, they contain AIM prisoners that you need to free as well.

How To Unlock Them

To open these doors, one needs to activate an unlocking mechanism. Depending on the lock you get, each activation mechanism is different. Each lock is yellow and will turn blue once activated. All of the lights will turn green once the mechanism is complete.

Note that the mechanism will reset if all four switches are not activated within a few seconds.

Types of Door Locks

Circular Switches

These types of switches require a single ranged attack from any Avenger in order for it to be activated.

Common Locations
In AIM buildings, these switches are oftentimes found behind fans which you need to destroy first.

In the case of AIM Depots and warehouses, these switches are most often found on towers beside the building itself or around the building itself.
In rare cases, these are sometimes found attached to the nearby geography or structure (such as mountainsides or beneath a hypercircuit station).

Floor Switches

These switches require an Avenger to step on it for a second in order to activate it.

Common Locations
In AIM Depots, these switches are commonly found just in front of or around the door you need to unlock and an inner room you can access using a side vent on the building.
In AIM buildings, they are usually covered by metal bars before you can access them.
In rare cases, these are located on multiple levels including rooftops and ledges.

Wall Locks

These switches require three melee hits before it is fully activated.

In AIM Depots, they are usually found beside the door and on the upper level or just on walls surrounding the building.
In AIM buildings, they are partially hidden behind computers which you can destroy.

In rare cases, they are sometimes found on opposite sides at the upper levels of structures (such as hypercircuit stations) or in multiple buildings.
