This is a walkthrough for the Mission Up From The Depths, Black Widow's Iconic Mission, in Marvel's Avengers (game). See all mission objectives, chest locations, as well as tips and strategy and an enemy list.

| Description | The AIM defectors are worried about their colleagues in AIM's deep sea laboratory. Black Widow must infiltrate the facility, save the scientists, and stop one of AIM's most dangerous experiments. |

| 1 |  In the opening area, take out the Swarm Drones before dealing with the enemies. Then, take out the target enemy as quickly as possible to get control of the elevator. |
| 2 |  Head down and follow the linear path to your next mission. Protect the AIM defectors by making sure you roam around the area, taking out the armored ones first. |
| 3 |  Continue defeating the enemies in the linear area until you get to the computer station to hack into the base server. Note that all turrets from this point are shielded making them impossible to destroy. |
| 4 | In this room, you have to deactivate an experimental reactor which has five switches in total. Two of them are in the bottom floor, the other are in the second floor, while the final one is a computer panel at the top most part of the room. |
| 5 |  Focus on the bottom ones first while dealing with the enemies. Be warned that there are protected lasers all around. |
| 6 |  Deal with the second level switches next by pulling them out of their containers and attacking them. |
| 7 |  Climb to the nearby observation deck and then to the final platform where you can find the last switch. Activate it to finish the mission. |
| 8 | Watch the cutscene after to see the end of Black Widow's Iconic Mission. |
Towards the end of this stage, all turrets become cloaked in shield. Add that to the number of Adept Synthoids you will battle. You have to perfectly dodge their attacks in order to prevent damage.
Except for a few, most of the enemies here are easy to take out. But what makes this mission somewhat difficult is the presence of Swarm Drones which grant invulnerability to your enemies. Take them out fast so you can deal with the other enemies.

Use combos to deal in damage then dodge when they execute their attacks. |
 Keeper
|
They have slow recharge times so get closer to them and beat them with melee attacks. |
 Aegis Keeper
|
Use charged attacks to break their shields or vault over their back to attack their weak spot. |
 Swarm Drone
|
Dispose quickly by using ranged attacks. |
 Security Drone
|
Dispose quickly by using ranged attacks. |
 Adaptoid
|
Use support heroics whenever possible as these enemies are sturdy. Alternate between quick attacks and dodging whenever they strike back. |
 Aegis Reaper
|
Use charged attacks to break their shields or vault over their back to attack their weak spot. |
 Adept Keeper
|
Close the gap in order to prevent them from using their homing attacks . |
 Adept Synthoid
|
Interrupt them with quick attacks before they teleport out. |
