How To Perfect Evade (Dodge)

A Perfect Evade is a special type of Dodge that occurs when you press the Circle button and Left Stick at exactly the precise moment your enemy attacks. This ensures that no attack will hit your character as you perform a Perfect Evade. You will know you performed it properly once the on-screen action slows down for a moment.

Several on screen markers will tell you when the attack of your opponent will hit.

Dodging Melee Attacks

For melee, there will be a white circle surrounding the target. Wait for it to become as small as possible and press the Circle button and Left Stick.

Also, if the attack will come off-screen, a symbol of a fist will appear that will either be in yellow, blue, or red.

Dodging Ranged Attacks

Incoming ranged attacks that you can see will be a little bit more diffcult to dodge, as they're almost purely based on sight. Luckily enough, except for laser beams, most projectiles are a little slow, and can be dodged on reflex. Hit the Circle button and Left Stick just before the projectile hits you.

An exclamation point will usually appear when ranged attacks come off screen. There will be a gauge that will fill the exclamation point to tell you when to dodge. Once it's filled up, press the Cirlce button and Left Stick to dodge it perfectly.

There are some attacks like from the Stiletto Riotbot that surrounds the player with a target that shrinks and turns red. The moment it turns red, press the Circle button to dodge it.

How to Practice Perfect Evade

Practice via HARM Missons

Except for Iron Man, all heroes have a Perfect Dodge HARM training session. Use it to get familiariazed with the timing. You can access these once the War Table is fully functional and when you unlock your heroes.
