Marvel's Avengers does not support cross-platform play between the three different platforms. If you play on PS, you can only play with those who have it on PS, and likewise with the other two.
Marvel's Avengers will allow next-gen players to join current-gen players if they upgrade their console. This means PS4 players can play with PS5 players, and Xbox One players will be able to play with Xbox Series X players.
Player data and progress is stored in a user's Square Enix account, and can be transferred between consoles aswell.
