How To Upgrade Gear
To raise your gear's power level, check out our guide to upgrading gear in the Marvel's Avengers game. Read more to find out how to upgrade gear, what it does, read on!

How To Upgrade Gear

Get Gear Rarity Uncommon or Higher

For gear to be upgraded, it must be rarer than common. The number of times gear can be upgraded depends on the rarity:

Rarity # of Boosts
Uncommon 3
Rare 5
Epic 10

Get Resources

Boosting costs resources however, so boost wisely! Depending on the type of gear, the type of resource you need to boost will also differ. By looking at the bottom of the Gear screen, you can see exactly how many of each resource you currently have. These can be found in missions, or obtained by dismantling your unused gear.

Press □ Over The Gear To Upgrade

If you have enough resources, you can upgrade a Gear by hovering the cursor over it and holding □.

What Upgrading Gear Does

How To Upgrade Gear
Each time you do this, its Power Level will increase by 1. In addition, Attributes can raise, and for rarer gear, extra gear perks can be unlocked.
