Snack Dash is an event where you can bet on and guide a critter to victory in a race against other Trailblazers!

To unlock Snack Dash, players must complete the When the Stars of Ingenuity Shine Trailblaze Continuance. This is part of the Crown of the Mundane and Divine mission series.
When the Stars of Ingenuity Shine Guide
If you're at Trailblaze Level 21 or higher, it's possible to unlock the event without clearing the pre-requisite mission above! Finality's Vision will temporarily be available during the event period to let you start the event early.
How to Increase Your Trailblaze Level Fast
The best Creation to support will always vary depending on the options you get, as well as the actual terrain of the arena. However, the Creations listed below can take advantage of certain situations, which will allow you to generally gain more control of the race!
| Creation | Recommendation |
|---|---|
Lucky Snack |
For Disabling Mechanisms If there are many Push Plates or Bumper Mechanisms present on the field, it'll be good to support Lucky Snack. Since it can disable their operations, Lucky Snack can avoid being flung to random spots. |
Troublemaker |
For Elevated Platforms Go with Troublemaker if the field has a lot of elevated platforms that require contestants to move around them. Troublemaker's ability will allow it to jump onto them and create a straightforward path to the finish line. |
Diviner Mochi |
For Slow and Slippery Tiles Diviner Mochi will not be affected by Slow Tiles and Slippery Tiles. If many are on the field, you can avoid speed loss or sliding in unwanted directions by supporting Diviner Mochi. |
Trash Cake |
For Speed Boosts from Trash Bags Trash Cake is generally a reliable option in many field conditions as it will not be stunned by Trash Bags. Instead, Trash Cake will gain a speed boost and allow it to quickly pass stunned contestants! |
Rice Dumpling |
For Complex Fields Fields that have a lot of Special Tiles and Bubbles are best suited for Rice Dumpling. Its ability will make it search for clearer paths and avoid terrain effects. |
Shader Cat |
For Narrow Paths If part of the field contains narrow sections that are 1 tile wide, go with Shader Cat. It can make nearby Creations go backwards and sometimes fling them off the path. This will allow Shader Cat to surge ahead much faster! |

Snack Dash races have 4 difficulty levels: Casual, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. After completing a match in a certain difficulty for the first time, you'll unlock the next difficulty!
The harder the race, the more expensive it is bet on contestants. However, you'll also earn more rewards as well! Take note that Advanced races are multiplayer, so you'll be matched against other Trailblazers that are online!

Several critters will race against each other in an obstacle course and your goal is to support the critter who you think is going to win the race. Spend Bounce-Bounce Snacks to bet on a contestant and win more back when they place in the top 3 ranks!
Each match is divided into 3 segments. With each segment, you need to pick a new contestant to support. Contestants that ranked low in a previous segment will earn more Bounce-Bounce Snacks if they place in the top 3 for the next one!

Every race has a randomized obstacle course with various terrain that can slow down your supported contestant. However, each Creation has their own abilities that can negate or let them take advantage of the terrain instead!
Be sure to look at the course and consider which Creation might have an easier time navigating through its obstacles.
| Mechanism / Tile | Effect |
|---|---|
Slow Tile |
Creations get stuck to the ground, which prevents jumping and slows their speed |
Slippery Tile |
Creations will continue sliding for a distance when landing on this tile |
Push Plate |
Pushes outward once in a while and bumps Creations away by a tile |
Bumper Mechanism |
Upon landing on this tile, Creations are launched in a certain direction |
Teleportation Pot |
When a Creation enters the pot, it will be teleported to another random pot |
Conveyer Belt |
Creations that land on these tiles can't jump, but will move along the direction of the conveyer belt |
Bubble |
Touching a bubble traps Creations inside until they're struck by another Creation or until the bubble bursts after a period of time |
Slope |
Landing on this tile will cause Creations to slide down the decline |

Once you've unlocked the Intermediate arena difficulty, you'll unlock the ability to vote for Stage Effects. These can provide various advantages or disadvantages, so it's best to go with whichever is most compatible with your chosen Creation.
The Stage Effect is randomly decided, but if a certain effect has more players voting for it, there'll be a higher chance of it getting drawn!

To further support your favorite contestant, you can deploy arena items that can influence the race, making it easier for your chosen critter to reach the finish line.
| Arena Item | Effect |
|---|---|
Trash Bag |
Briefly stuns Creations within the area that it's dropped in |
"Herta-V" Signal Jammer |
Stops a Bumper or Push Plate from operating for 3 seconds |
Universal Bait |
Continuously attracts Creations towards it for 4 seconds |

Each time you watch a race, you'll earn Spectator Points. The harder the arena, the more points you'll earn! Continue watching races to accumulate Spectator Points and claim various Spectator Rewards.

After completing the Run, For Victory and Snacks event mission, the Snack Exchange will be unlocked. Here, you can exchange your Bounce-Bounce Snacks for various goodies like Trick Snacks, Tears of Souls, Credits, and Pleasant-Looking Trash!

Snack Dash will reward players with the Garbdriver Trailblaze Fashion cosmetic to equip on their Trailblazer! You must obtain a total of 16,000 Spectator Points to get Garbdriver.

Glad to see the overall consensus on this event is pretty much the same. The worst rng possible. Abilities mean nothing and there is zero skill involved.
