Currency Wars Gameplay Guide
Form Bonds With Up To 10 Characters
In Currency Wars, players can form a team made up of 10 character units. Up to 4 characters can be used during combat, while the rest of your characters can be used out of combat to provide off-field support.
Certain character combinations can activate Bonds, which provide strong buffs. Players can experiment with different lineups to create various powerful teams!
Use Gameplay-Exclusive Abilities
Currency Wars also features new character abilities that are exclusive to this game mode. With this, players will be able to experience new ways to play their characters and team comps!
Free Trial Characters
You can use both characters you own and characters you don't own as free trial characters in Currency Wars. Characters you own will also be mapped to a more optimal build when they're used in Currency Wars.
Honkai: Star Rail Characters and Builds
Use Investment Environments to Alter Your Playstyle
At the start of Currency Wars, you will be given Investment Environments to choose from. These environments give you rewards to start the run with. This can range from extra Gold Coins to specific items or characters. This alters how you'll play your current run and can alter your playstyle.
Build Up Your Economy of Gold Coins
To get characters, you need to use Gold Coins to buy them from the store. Gold Coins are also used to refresh the store and search for characters to complete your team. You receive Gold Coins per round, get extra when you have a win streak, and even more from interest.
You can also receive Gold Coins from reward orbs, Investment Environments and Strategies, and from selling characters.
Purchase Experience to Level Up
To field the characters you purchase, you need to get experience to level up. The number of characters you can use in the field is tied to what level you are, so manage your Gold Coins and level wisely!
Increase The Star Level of Your Characters
Each character starts at one-star level. You can increase this by purchasing more copies of them. Each star level increase their overall stats, so aim to increase the star level of your characters to improve their performance in battle.
To get a two-star character, you need three copies. To get a three-star character, you need three two-star versions of that character.
Combine Items To Create Powerful Equipment
While playing Currency Wars, you'll also receive items you can equip on your characters. These items can be combined to create powerful equipment, which can boost the damage or survivability of your characters!
New Reward Rotation Schedule
From Version 3.7, Simulated Universe takes turns refreshing rewards with Currency Wars on a rotating basis.

Each Currency Wars Rank increases the difficulty of your runs and provide you with Stellar Jade rewards as soon as you enter it. Your Rank will be showcased in your in-game profile.
Starting from the Investment Master Rank, you will have to complete Ascension Matches in order to move to a higher Rank.

Deep Immersifier
You can collect Deep Immersifiers from the Currency Wars game modes.
Compared to the original Immersifier, This allows you to collect Planar Ornaments without engaging in combat.
Fuel Vouchers
You can also collect Fuel Vouchers in Currency Wars, which allow you to quickly obtain materials from Calyxes.
