The Herta, Anaxa, and Asta are the trial characters for Day 3.
With The Herta and Anaxa being Trial characters, we recommend using them together for Day 3 of Morning Starlight. The ideal team will be The Herta, Anaxa, Himeko, and Ruan Mei.
We can go sustainless for Day 3 due to the stage mechanic of delaying the enemies hit by skills.
Himeko is recommended due to her great damage output when weaknesses are broken and since Anaxa is easily able to implant weaknesses, she should not have a hard time in getting her talent to proc.
Tribbie is also recommended due to the amazing damage buff that she provides. At high skill point stacks, her follow up attacks on ally ultimates can deal quite a lot of damage, raising the overall team damage output.

If you don't have Himeko, Herta is a great replacement due to her follow-up attacks being able to proc almost every wave. She only falls short in damage when the elite enemies are the last ones standing.
Jade is also a good DPS unit that goes well with Anaxa due to him being able to use his skill twice in one turn, allowing her to build up stacks faster.
If you don't have Tribbie, we suggest replacing them with either Robin, Ruan Mei, or Asta. Robin has a great damage buff and provides extra damage every time your team attacks, which is very often due to The Herta and Anaxa having extra hits and Himeko's follow-up attacks.
Ruan Mei is also a good alternative due to her Weakness Break Efficiency and damage buffs. Her Weakness Break Efficiency buff can help Himeko proc her talent faster.
Asta is another great option due to the speed buff her ultimate provides, letting your team act faster than the enemies. She can also get stacks for her talent quickly due to Anaxa's weakness implants.
If you don't want to use a support buffer, Pela is recommended due to the debuffs she brings.

Herta has great synergy with the trial characters and is thus recommended for the F2P team for this stage.
Her ability to hit all enemies with her skill makes great use of the delay stage mechanic, which helps in preventing enemies from being able to attack you.

Majority of your damage boost will come from the stage mechanic, the Skill Point stacks. You lose half your current skill points when you are attacked, so you should avoid getting attacked as much as possible.
A good way to do so would be to make use of the other stage mechanic, the delay on skill hits. With this stage mechanic and making use of weakness breaks, it is absolutely possible for you to clear the stage without getting attacked.

Planning when to use Anaxa's ultimate is important especially when entering a new wave. When running characters such as Himeko, there is a good chance that the enemies won't be weak to fire, making it hard for her to reach her full potential.
Holding your Anaxa ultimate when you are nearing a new wave as opposed to spamming it whenever it is available is a viable strategy to help boost your overall team damage.
Anaxa's ultimate also applies the Sublimation debuff. Enemies are unable to take action while this debuff is active, so a well-timed Anaxa ultimate also helps in letting you maintain your skill point stacks.

| Allies do not consume Skill Points when using Skills, instead recover 1 Skill Point and increase Max Skill Points. If there are currently more than 5 Skill Points available, increases DMG dealt by 120% for every 1 Skill Point exceeding 5. Allies can gain up to 5 Max Skill Points, but will lose half of the current Skill Points and reduce current Max Skill Points by half after they are attacked. When ally units use Skill, they delay the action of the enemy targets hit by 20%. |

Struggled to make this work without any of the non-trial units besides Himeko being invested. Turns out Feixiao is actually pretty amazing for this if you have her invested properly. All my other team comps failed: Trial The Herta + Trial Anaxa + My Himeko + - Firefly, Rappa, Lingsha, Bronya, Castorice Kept coming up short on the last stage with ~50% left. Feixiao did a great job deleting bosses so we could quickly move onto the next stage.
