With Mydei being one of the Trial characters, we recommend using Mydei's best team comp for Day 1 of Morning Starlight. The ideal team will be Mydei, Sunday, Tribbie, and Luocha.

If you don't have Sunday, we suggest replacing him with either Bronya or Sparkle. Both characters can advance forward your hypercarry while increasing their damage. If you don't want to use a buffer, you can opt to use Pela for debuffs.
If you don't have Luocha and don't want to use Gallagher, Lynx is the next ideal healer due to her skill increasing the target's Max HP.
If you don't want to use the free Mydei trial character, Blade and Castorice are the only other DPS who can make use of the Max HP buff.

Remembrance Trailblazer in this F2P team comp will help advance forward Mydei through Mem. Remembrance Trailblazer's default gameplay of spamming basic ATKs after summoning Mem also makes use of the stage mechanic. However, she can be replaced with Pela for more damage.
How to Beat Day 1 Supergiant Star
Focus on Attacking the Elite Enemies
The "Aimed" state is the stage mechanic that will help Mydei deal tremendous amounts of damage. Most of Tribbie's attacks are blast attacks which can put the "Aimed" state on the wrong target but this can be easily fixed by Gallagher's basic ATKs.
Mydei's blast attacks will naturally kill the normal enemies even if you target the elite enemies the whole time.

| The Max HP of your position 1 character increases by 150%. When other characters attack enemy targets, they advance the action of the character in position 1 by 50%, and cause the selected target to enter "Aimed" state. Your position 1 character can only select and attack the "Aimed" enemy unit, dealing Additional DMG equal to 320% of position 1 character's Max HP. "Aimed" state is only effective on the latest enemy target. |

Anonymous 7 monthsFrom my playthrough, I feel the recommended characters are wrong for day 1 and day 2. Support: Add Robin as the main suggested Support (in favour of sunday, bronya, etc) Healer: Add Lingsha in favour of Galagher. Lingsha performs MUCH better for both day 1/ day 2.

Using the chars recommended here, I got an S rating for Day 1. Using Robin (E0, 4* weap from event) + Lingsha (E0, 4* weap) + Tribbie (trial) + Castorice (E0, S0), I got SS rating with 2 turns left over for both day 1 and day 2.
