also lately ive kind of disliked of using characters who use skill because some enemies punish you if you do so like that blue gorilla 💀

huohuo is bis healer for argenti and kafka.
luocha is still blade's bis healer cuz of his auto skill gives fat heal. blade doesnt have energy issue and he doesnt need atk buff. jingliu is fine with huohuo if you have another sp+ support in the team. keep in mind e4 pela needs to use her skill for the ice shred. bronya also wants to use skill to advance forward your dps.
If you're struggling with Huohuo something's up tbh Used her this morning, lv80, 5500 hp, s2 hey over here, lv7 traces On Blade team his HP barely even went down On Jingliu team there were no issues except with Pela (who is way underlevelled)

Sampo, Luka and Gui can all be SP neutral or positive, Tingyun is SP positive, pela is fully SP positive Unless you use Asta or Bronya, Kafka is the only SP heavy unit in a DoT team so Huohuo fits just fine
If you use Blade, Jingliu or Kafka (the 3 characters I happen to own) she's their best sustainer
Her talent is like 700 hp heal every time an ally moves, so her skill is not her only heal, and it's a sort of pseudo emergency heal as it triggers on low hp allies. You won't die unless you get 1shot or ganged up on (which, unless you're Blade, doesn't happen often) and Luocha has the same weakness, I'll admit his is to a lesser extent though As for SP positivity, you can either sacrifice a turn of her talent or get her e1 She's not THE best sustain but she is amazing for some teams
true, I’ve only died once with fu xuan and that was in swarm disaster. I was worried that she wouldn’t be as good cause you still lose hp and can barely heal but turns out she takes a lot of dmg for your team and heals herself the minute her hp drops so she’s actually a pretty good sustain
the 12% is pretty meh cause more often than not you will have at least 70 crit rate on your dps. But in terms of sustain I would say she is loucha level cause it is pretty hard to die with her. Only problem is she barely heals and doesn’t sheild meaning you will still lose hp, she just slows it down but your enemies would already die by then and she makes it so your team can resist a debuff.
Also for me it isn’t that huo huo isn’t sp+ that bothers me, it’s that her only way of healing is her skill and she has no emergency heal whatsoever in a scenario where it’s not her turn or no one has their ult ready (even though the heal on that is pretty low). I’ve played her again and again and as much I love her and want to say she’s equal or better to loucha I can’t cause it isn’t true. She cannot sustain as well as fu xuan or loucha and that will become an issue.
Loucha offers emergency heal, team wide heal on field, cleanse and dispel and is sp+. He is definitely more future proof than huo huo and is better currently. You play a dps with two supports so the last slot should ideally be a sustain that can make sure the party will stay alive even in emergencies. Huo huo buff is the only thing saving her from going to A but even that will change when better harmony chat release cause by then better sustain is more preferable.

and most importantly he does all that without sp issue cuz of his auto. while huohuo is good for dot cuz of her ult gives atk buff to the party. but idk how people manage the rotation. i dont have kafka so cant elaborate more. all i know kafka wants to use skill every turn to trigger dots? do you play slow huohuo in dot team?
you said that as if luocha isn't a merge of abundance+nihility himself. his ultimate comes with aoe buff dispel like a nihility which is useful against enemies like those robots and deer who can buff themselves to hell. even against the mara struck zombies. get his e1 you have sustain who gives okayge atk buff with just his field, cleanses debuff, and dispel buff with no energy issue.

tldr; luocha is good, but his position is now like that of bailu when luocha himself was released. he IS good, but more flexible options are coming. as for huohuo, I'd consider her a sp-neutral luocha that can buff the team. as such, it doesn't make much sense for her to be one tier under luocha. it'd make more sense to either push luocha down to s, or put huohuo on ss
and, in fact, fu xuan already does that. the amount of damage fx mitigates is absolutely ridiculous. it is to the point where, despite the only source of healing in her kit being the ult, you will rarely find your team falling below half hp. but that's not all, at max trace level, she gives the whole team 12% crit rate. that is to say, if another character like fx is released, or hell, powercreep her, then you don't even need healers
