also I didn’t really mention him when saying jingliu is the only dps thing cause I don’t really count him as a dps. He’s more of a sub dps if you ask me.
honestly he’s complicated, I don’t have him so I can’t really judge who he works with best but I think it might be bronya or pela or SW cause atk buffs and all are pretty useless on him. I know he also works very well with jingliu however but in that team you can’t really use bronya due to lack of sp you’ll get. Or maybe you can I don’t really know lol
What about Blade? He doesn't want Tingyun
But in the end people pull for who they enjoy and want to play cause the game is pretty easy so far. Im not trying to doom post btw so sorry if it came out like that. Huo huo is still pretty good if you don’t have the other two!
I know Huo Huo is Kafka and possibly Argenti biS sustain but Fu xuan and especially loucha are much more flexible and basically work for everyone else as well as Kafka and Argenti while Huo Huo doesn’t. She lacks sustain and flexibility and that’s something anyone can see. I know their will be other dps release and char who might fix that problem and that’s when she’ll finally be equal to loucha ans fu xuan but right now s they are the better units and have more value.
Huo huo is a good sustain, I’m not denying that, but her issue is her lack of sustain compared to louch and fu xuan. Loucha and fu xuan already offers so many things other than just sustain so the argument of “Huo Huo offers atk buffs and eng so that makes them equal” is not going to work here, especially when she lacks some healing and ability to keep char alive in intense situations like them.
That won’t always work. Hanabi won’t solve everyone’s problems. For example she will solve DHIL problems cause he’ll be allowed to use another sp gingery support but will it really allow his entire team to be sp hungry? Some dps like jingliu and blade don’t need sp and by using hanabi just for a sustain you’d be losing some dmg cause you aren’t playing the supports they actually want and are BiS for them.
blade best sustain is still loucha especially if you want to play it safe cause I know a lot of people who have ranted that their blade always comes so close to dying and sometimes does die.
their is only one Tingyun and she is used for a lot of dps teams. Jingliu is the only dps who’s best team doesn’t have Tingyun so it’s better to save her for your other dps who does use her and keep bronya with jingliu.
Also whenever I see other people’s build for jingliu I rarely see anyone pair her up with Tingyun. Jinglu moves so fast that the buff disappears in a blink of an eye and isn’t even noticeable. Bronya- pela- loucha is jingliu best current comp (might change with release of Ruan Mei). By using Tingyun and huo huo you might be able to make a good comp but it is not better then her best nor is it equal to it.
that’s not the point, jingliu best team does need to use skill points and jingliu does not regenerate sp in her enhanced state. Also my jingliu usually only needs to stay in her enhanced state 3-4 turns to defeat all the enemies. Also its honestly not hard to keep jingliu enhanced state up. She gives herself a ton of free atk and crit to the point where stacking up and energy rope can be done.
Bronya alone is her best support but Tingyun and Huohuo together can extend Jingliu's state by a lot I've managed I believe 7 turns before her state ended, and it can go longer if you're lucky And there's only one Bronya who may be wanted on other teams
bronya is her best support and pela does need to use her skill especially at e4 if you want to maximize your dmg. This is her best team hence why I say loucha is preferable here over huo huo.

Pela and Tingyun don't need a lot of SP She only needs Loucha when using Bronya
like I said, she’s good but not Fu xuan or loucha level yet. Kafka dot is literally the only team she works best on over the other two and even then you’d have to make sure you aren’t constantly using your other enablers skill as frequently as you would. I have Huo Huo and she is much harder to run then loucha or Fu xuan. And like I said all other dps require Fu xuan or loucha over her and her lack of sustain will be an issue. Once again I am not saying this to bash her.
i find using her with blade funny. like she would appreciate blade for being sp neutral dps. but blade dont even need atk buff 🤧 blade also would appreciate some dots on him to stack his shuhu's gift follow up faster but huohuo keeps cleansing the dots away 🤣
Jingliu doesn’t but her supports do and she still needs to use it 1-2 time to enter her state + does not generate sp either so loucha is still better for her over Huo Huo.
Ah well I can say with absolute certainty that my 165 spd, 50 effect res Huohuo does not have any issues with CC, and always moves first in battle
