she’s still used a lot in the abyss, 3rd most used dps in fact and she’s pretty cheap to build so I don’t know what your talking about lol. Neuv and Alhaiatham are better options yes and but she still remains in 3rd strongest dps in game while being 3 years old which is my point that DHIL/JL or other dps can still remain strong even when moving on because like i said they represent china and even 2.0 has things tailor made for them.
in the end you need two teams. there are more than 2 teams who are stronger and cheaper to build than her team. ofc she is still meta but she rarely becomes the top pick dps anymore.
maybe but Hu Tao was released way earlier in genshin and is still one of the top dps today. They’ll make units strong of course and I won’t deny that there will be a day where DHIL will be powercrept but even then he’ll still strong. I’m honestly excited to see a character with stronger numbers.Technically we do already have dps who are stronger in some situations but aren’t really considered better cause they lack the other so destruction char will be the unit to powercreep JL and DHIL
its gonna take a while to fully powercreep him. dhil might still be meta during his upcoming rerun in penacony but most likely not anymore after that. hoyo needs to sell new units as well. if people dont wanna move on from 1.x units hoyo has no choice but to create stronger newer dps.
I’m just happy to finally be able to bench yukong cause speed tuning is nothing but pain especially when enemies keep messing it up.
Hoyo is balancing other dps and letting them shine without powercreep JL or DHIL so still remain the best due to better supports and having high dmg in both ST and AoE. For example Argenti has highest AoE in game and is going to be the king of PF but has horrible ST performance. Dr.ratio has highest ST dmg but horrible AoE performance as well. Jingliu and DHIL are extremely good in both scenarios which gives them the edge especially since you need two teams.
yup, Dr.ratio has higher ST dmg (makes sense cause he has no form of aoe) then both Jingliu and DHIL. He’s getting a new Relic set and 4 star abundance who can apply debuffs so it’s easier to run him with a harmony or other FU dps (Topaz or leaked Screwllum) and isn’t tied to SW.
Sparkle allowed him to 0 cycle an MoC not made for him with ease and not much investment, with her he does almost twice as much dmg as he did before so yeah he’ll be the strongest for quite some time. He already has the highest clear times even in MoC that hate him. Keep in mind he’s a dragon representing the xianzhou aka china.
i feel like hoyo would balance the newer dps to have around the same dps as him but they would be easier to use and cheaper to build.

fr 90% dmg bonus on top of endless SP and atk + speed buts is so op, Dan heng will be staying as the top dps for quite some time after her release which isn’t surprising since he a dragon who represents xianzhou. Hoping they don’t nerf her to oblivion or ruin her synergy with DHIL.

tbh partnering sparkle with yukong is better for speedrun. especially if your dhil is e2.
Can he work with Ruan Mei? I plan on going for her along with sparkle. I heard she’s sp positive now and is just as good if not better than bronya so would using her instead of pela or Tingyun make him better or is it better to just stick with his current team?
just saw this but no I didn’t mean it’s better, it’s only close to his own in terms of the dmg increase but ultimately his signature is much better. Jingliu light cone really on works on her because in order to gain all those buffs you need all part members to lose hp which is only guaranteed when using her cause it’s in her kit.
his lc is definitely better. helps with crit rate so easier to reach 70cr for rutilant arena. it helps with energy too.
