Lightning Attacks |
---|
Lightning Thrust: The Yellow Loong charges its weapon with lightning, then dashes towards you while thrusting its weapon. |
Lightning Crash: The Yellow Loong jumps in the air, then slams its weapon on the ground. |
Lightning Discharge: The Yellow Loong charges its weapon with lightning, then causes a small explosion around itself. |
Lightning Rave: The Yellow Loong levitates in the air, then charges towards you multiple times before crashing down on you. This attack is always after Lightning Discharge. |
Triple Lightning Slam: The Yellow Loong slams its weapon on the ground, then follows up with two more slams but in quick succession. |
Lightning Sweep: The Yellow Loong swings its weapon in a sweeping motion and creates a delayed explosion. |
The Yellow Loong has an arsenal of powerful lightning attacks that deals a ton of damage. However, performing those attacks opens the Yellow Loong for retaliation for a short time.
It's best to watch out for its lightning attacks and dodge them as much as possible, then utilize the time window that opens to do damage.
The Yellow Loong is quite mobile and can move around the arena easily. Use Immobilize, Wind Tamer, or Rock Solid to stun it, then follow up with attacks.
Pluck of Many and Withering Wight are great for depleting the Yellow Loong's HP. The Pluck of Many can slowly melt through its HP throughout its duration while the Withering Wight can deal high burst damage. Pairing them with Immobilize makes them more effective.
