How to Beat Chen Loong

Chen Loong Strategy

Dodge Its Lightning Attacks

Lightning Attacks

Lightning Beam: Chen Loong levitates in the air, then unleashes a beam of lightning.

Lightning Charge: Chen Loong flys in the air, then charges towards with lightning. Once it lands, it summons three (3) bolts of lightning in front of it.

Lightning Blast: Chen Loong charges up lightning, then unleashes a strong blast of lightning.

Lightning Tentacles: Chen Loong summons large tentacles from the ground, which then does a sweeping attack.

Chen Loong has a variety of lightning attacks that deals a high damage. However, they are relatively easy to dodge thanks to how large the arena is and how they're telegraphed, so just anticipate them and be ready to dodge.

Bombard It With Spells

Chen Loong is frail compared to other bosses, making more susceptible to damage. The best strategy to beat it is to bombard it with spells. We recommend using Immobilize, Pluck of Many, and Wind Tamer.

Use Immobilize and Wind Tamer to stun it, then follow up with attacks and spirit attacks. Meanwhile, use Pluck of Many to deal even more damage on top of your attacks. As a sidenote, it's best to use Pluck of Many at the start of the fight since Chen Loong will be on the ground for most of that time, allowing your clones to continuously deal damage.
