If you've gone past the Wandering Wight and rung all three bells to teleport to the Secret Area in Chapter 1, he will disappear and you won't be able to get his Spirit. If this happens, you will need to either start a new save or wait until you get to New Game+ to get the Spirit.

Wandering Wight Ranking Explanation

Wandering Wight Combat Tier

Wandering Wight
Combat Tier S Rank Icon
Pros
• Grants +20 Defense when equipped.
• Has high Poise, which reduces interruptions when casting spells.
• Faithful Kowtow is an AoE attack that can even stun bosses.
• Faithful Kowtow can also break open hidden areas, which many are found in Chapter 2 onwards.
Cons
• Faithful Kowtow only lasts for a short period of time and can be avoided by faster enemies.
• Doesn't work on Flying Enemies.

The Wandering Wight Spirit's skill, Faithful Kowtow, is most effective when surrounded by enemies due to its large size, providing a space advantage after transforming.

However, the skill only lasts briefly, and it's even shorter if the spirit hasn't been fully cultivated yet.
