What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Can only be obtained as a reward from a Grand Hero Battle ・Desperation allows him to attack in succession ・Threaten Spd 3 makes it easy to gain a follow-up attack |
Might: 16 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). |
Cooldown Count = 4 Before combat this unit initiates, foes in an area near target take damage equal to 1.5x (unit’s Atk minus foe’s Def or Res). |
If unit's HP ≤ 75% and unit initiates combat, unit can make a follow-up attack before foe can counterattack. |
At start of turn, inflicts Spd-5 on foes within 2 spaces through their next actions. |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|
HP (18) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Atk (18) | ★★★★☆ | |
Spd (11) | ★★★★★ | |
Def (6) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Res (5) | ★★☆☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Grand Hero Battle, Navarre will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Navarre are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Navarre to get a ton of follow-up attacks on his foes. It also protects him from hostile follow-up attacks. His Res is of less importance and thus safe to be taken as a bane.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Navarre to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. With this IV, he can reach 44 Spd which is at a range wherein he can score lots of follow-up attacks if he has ample support from allies.
Follow-up attacks are also good for further speeding-up special activations and is the best IV paired with Desperation 3.

This is the same idea as Navarre's Wrathful build, but it instead takes the rarer Special Spiral 3 to accelerate Special activations once Quickened Pulse is used up. Like the Wrathful build, the C slot is very flexible.

Wrath 3

Taking Scarlet Sword's Special eff. ref. and Quickened Pulse in the Sacred Seal slot will allow Navarre to activate Blazing Wind in the first turn of the game! Taking in Wrath 3 will add more flat damage whenever he activates his Special. Savage Blow 3 will add even more AoE damage to Navarre. If he scores a nice placement of his AoE damage, his allies can easily swoop in and finish the job! The C slot is very flexible, though! For the A slot, you can also take Fury 4 or Atk/Spd Push 4 these two provide a mechanic to easily get you into Wrath range.

This build activates Galeforce after one attack after Scarlet Sword's cooldown reduction effects and Flashing Blade's acceleration. Spd Smoke is to debuff nearby foes' Spd so that Flashing Blade 4 can trigger. Wings of Mercy is to follow-up after an allied player initiates the Galeforce chain.
Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |

SP: 400 | |
Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: +3 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At the start of turn 1, grants Special cooldown count-2. :500 :200 |
|
The special effect refine of Scarlet Sword gives it a built-in effect similar to the Quickened Pulse Sacred Seal, but with a bigger cooldown count reduction. If you are able to inherit Special Spiral 3 onto Navarre, he will be able to activate specials rapidly in one map. Consider getting said skill if you plan on using Navarre in the long run and in competitive game modes such as Aether Raids or the Arena.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Navarre is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Special Skill | Area of Effect |
---|---|
Blazing Wind deals fixed damage to a tightly-knit area. It is a great special in maps that have enemies bundled up together. It is strong against enemies that have high defenses as it deals fixed damage regardless of Res or Def. A lot of strategy can be put into using Navarre's Blazing Wind. You will be surprised at its true potential when used correctly.
When combined with Navarre's ability to shorten his special cooldowns, this skill can potentially ravage many enemy line-ups. Read more about Scarlet Sword's special effect refine here!
The B skill Desperation 3 allows Navarre to make follow-up attacks before enemies can counterattack if him HP is ≤ 75%. It is fairly easy to trigger, but the effect is very powerful. It fits Navarre's play style as he wants to deal the most damage possible while avoiding taking attacks and counterattacks. Together with his quick charging special and the possible double attack from Desperation, it is fairly easy for him to score takedowns without taking damage.
Navarre's Def and Res sit at only 23 and 24 respectively. This makes him extremely fragile. Though he has a decent Spd stat of 37, he can still be taken out by powerful foes, especially blue ones! When engaging with Navarre, consider the counterattacks and the implications of his new position upon entering the enemy phase. If possible, avoid attacking enemies that can counterattack him or going into spots that have multiple threats.

Summer Joshua can be used to inherit the skills Blazing Wind or Threaten Spd 3. However, you can only acquire Navarre from Grand Hero Battles or from using Heroic Grails, so think carefully before foddering him off.
Navarre is a Hero who, for a limited time, can be obtained through completing a Grand Hero Battle for the first time. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.

I usually fight alone. However… I can imagine a future fighting with all of you. Never mind. Don’t listen to anything I’ve said. It’s all nonsense, and I blame you for my sentimentality, {Summoner}. |
