The best IVs for Lon'qu are +Atk and -HP. A +Atk IV adds to his already high Atk stat. This allows Lon'qu to defeat many foes in one turn. His HP is of less importance to him, so it is best to take HP as his bane. Additionally, his HP can be raised via the Weapon Refinery if the need arises.

How to Use, Explanation

This build aims to maximize Lon'qu's Atk/Spd. This is for him to be able to rely on Desperation 3 to score some one-sided matchups with foes. This is also to reliably proc Flashing Blade 3 for consistent Special activations. Be warned as this will put his Def/Res to absurdly low levels!

Solitary Blade's refine adds a Life and Death effect to Lon'qu's weapon, allowing him to use his offensive stats better. His bulk is already suspect, making the decrease not as detrimental as it would be for other heroes.

Lon'qu boasts a high base Spd of 42 with his A skill. This value is coming from a Lon'qu that is unmerged, unbuffed and with no dragonflowers used. Make use of Lon'qu's fast Spd by increasing his Atk!

Slaying Edge+ Speeds-up Special

Lon'qu's most powerful weapon, the Lon'qu accelerates his special trigger (cooldown count -1). This makes it easier for him to utilize his special skill, Glimmer as it will sit at a cooldown counter of only 1.

Low Defenses

Lon'qu's Def and Res sit at only 22. This makes him extremely fragile. We recommend that he never ends the player phase whilst in the danger zone. As much as possible, only engage enemies that Lon'qu can take out.

Too Squishy for Vantage

Lon'qu will find it tricky to use Vantage compared to other units who run it. This is because he is too squishy and most times, he will be taken out in one shot. You can either replace it with another skill or make use of buffs and put some strategy around using Lon'qu so that he will be able to utilize this skill easily.
