Where to Find Rydell
This guide will show you how to find Rydell in the Demon's Souls Remake for PS5. Read on to learn more about his location and how to find him.

Rydell's Tendency Appearances
Neutral Tendency
In Neutral and higher World Tendencies, Rydell appears as a Phantom locked inside a cell on the second floor of stage 3-1: Tower of Latria.
White Tendency
In Pure White World Tendency, a bridge appears in the area above the first chain in 3-2. This allows you to retrieve the key to Rydell's cell. You get the Dull Rat's Ring as a reward for rescuing him.
Black Tendency
In Pure Black World Tendency, Rydell turns into a Black Phantom. If you kill him, he drops the Phosphorescent Pole.
How to Rescue Rydell
Achive Pure White World Tendency
In order to obtain the key to Rydell, you must first achieve Pure White World Tendency in the Tower of Latria. You can do this quickly by inviting a friend over to your game then kill them as a Black Phantom.
Find the Key to Rydell's Prison Cell

The key to Rydell's prison cell is on the second floor of the Tower of Latria. Once you have achieved Pure White World Tendency, cross the next tower from the first one and you will see a staircase that breaks off. Go up the staircase and this will lead you to the top of the tower where you will find the Prison of Hope, 2F W. Cell Key.
