From the arena you fought the Phalanx, head further in to find several hoplites. Defeat them or sprint through them to proceed.
This is a great place to farm Sharpstones if you wish to upgrade your weapons. You can also net some free souls with the Red Dragon killing everything.
|②||Before going further, you can head left to find our friend Ostrava, once again in need of help. You can neglect this first then defeat the area's boss before saving him to make sure he doesn't die accidentally. Saving him immediately will cause him to roam the area and kill enemies.|
Now head further and wait for the Red Dragon to appear and breathe fire on the whole path. While he's breathing fire, you can follow his trail to get through the path.
Further on, you will also notice some high platforms where you can see the Red Dragon using his breath attack, you can slowly chip it's health here using ranged attacks to kill it more easily. Just make sure to kill the crossbowmen stationed there first.
After reaching the next safe area, eliminate all the enemies and loot the items then head underground. Following this path will lead you to the next safe area while being able to avoid the Red Dragon's assault.
Beware of the dogs, they are extremely fast and can quickly overwhelm you so proceed slowly and with caution. There are a total of 5 of them underground.
|⑤||Continue doing so until you reach the last area, here, you will encounter a lot of crossbowmen and 2 blue-eyed knights. Eliminate the crossbowmen quickly without taking the aggro of the second knight so you can have your one on one with the knight. Eliminate the first knight then the second knight to proceed.|
|⑥||Before heading to the fog, Take the path upwards on the right and prepare to kill the Crystal Lizard to net yourself some more items. Once done, head to the fog to proceed to the fight with the Tower Knight.|
Wait for the Red Dragon to use his breath attack. When he does, immediately follow his trail to reach your destination safely. A safe spot to wait before the Red Dragon appears is behind the charred bodies near the entrance.
We discuss Safe Areas where the Red Dragons cannot damage the player. These areas are the areas where the crossbowmen are stationed. The underground path is also relatively safe but is infested with enemies.

The Locked Door in Tower Knight Archstone
For the first path, you'll have to follow the Red Dragon when it uses it's breath attack to reach your first safe area. For the second and third one, you'll want to use the underground path to proceed more safely.
Enemies have a certain range before they will attack the player. This is why it is suggested to move slowly when exploring areas. A good example is the wolves on the underground. Running will immediately draw the aggro of the 5 wolves which can immediately spell a game over for you.
You can use a lot (and we mean a lot) of arrows to hit the Red Dragon while waiting for it to swoop down while waiting on the crossbowmen's position on the first safe area. You won't be able to see the damage you deal but over time, the damage will accumulate and the dragon will fall.
Crystal Lizards are elusive enemies that drop several crafting materials when slain. You'll want to be careful when approaching them to ensure that you can quickly kill them to obtain some delicious loot.
The locked door near the Tower Knight Archstone can only be opened by obtaining it's key further in 1-3. The cell locks up Biorr and saving him will make the fight against the Penetrator much more easier.
If you saved Ostrava in area 1-1, he will appear again near one of the closed gates left of the area that was infested with Hoplites (the slimes with spears on their bodies).
You can come to his aid by heading to the first safe area, going underground, then dispatching all enemies stationed southward (the path leading to his area underground).
It is highly advised to only do this if you are sure to kill the Tower Knight on your current run. If you fail, he will continue roaming after you return to area 1-2 and can potentially die from enemies.
