Great Sword Analysis

The Only Upgradable Extra Large Sword

This Extra Large Sword is one of two in the game, the other being the Dragon Bone Smasher. While offensively speaking, it is inferior to the Dragon Bone Smasher, the main advantage of the Great Sword is its multiple upgrade paths.

Don't upgrade it for pure offense since the Dragon Bone Smasher outclasses it in that regard. Choose a different path and this weapon will be valuable.

Great Sword Recommended Upgrade Path

Great Sword Recommended Upgrade

At first glance, with the stat scaling, the Great Sword could be a good weapon for a Magic Warrior Build. However, the Dragon Bone Smasher is a much better option for that path.

However, for a Faith-based build, this weapon can be upgraded to a Blessed one that scales with Faith.
