Combine Two Wrong Ingredients

An Unfortunate Smoothie is a special type of Smoothie that is made through an accident. Most combinations that involve Monster Guts or Monster Fangs, as well as some other ingredient combinations such as combining Floral Nectar and Warm Peppers will result in an Unfortunate Smoothie.

There are many combinations that result in Unfortunate Smoothies, including every comination that is not listed in the Recipe List.

Unfortunate Smoothie Uses

Required for Great Fairy's Request Side Quest

The Floral Seashell and Magma Stone are required items to complete The Great Fairy's Request quest. To get the Floral Seashell, go to Sea Zora Village, and talk to the shopkeeper inside. You will need to make an Unfortunate Smoothier and give it to the shopkeeper to obtain the item.

Drink to Restore Half a Heart and Partially Recover Energy

Drinking the Unfortunate Smoothie will restore half of one heart and restore 1/3 of your energy. It is the least potent of all Smoothies in the game.

Sell for 5 Rupees

If you accidentally create an Unforunate Smoothie, you could also sell it to a Shop for 5 Rupees, although it will be less than what you could have made by selling the raw ingredients.
