How to Get the Velvety Dreamdrop

The First One Can be Obtained in the Distant Tundra

The first Velvety Dreamdrop can be obtained in the Distant Tundra during the story mission Reunite with Brittany! It can be found growing on a tree banch located near the back of a snow field in the northwest area of the map. Throw a Pikmin to knock it down.

There is also a Cupid's Grenade buried nearby in the snow. Be sure to check that it has also been retrieved.

The Second One Can be Obtained in the Tropical Wilds

The second Velvety Dreamdrop can be obtained in the Tropical Wilds during the story mission To Twilight River! There is an opening to the west of the landing site. Upon entering, there is an Armored Cannon Larva nearby. After defeating it, the Vevety Dreamdrop can be safely retrieved.

The Third One Can be Obtained in The Garden of Hope

The third Velvety Dreamdrop can be obtained in the Garden of Hope during the story mission Follow Olimar! Go past the water area in the southwest of the map to find the fruit closed up inside a wooden box. A total of 8 Winged Pikmin will be needed to lift up the board. Retrieve the fruit and be sure to call back your Winged Pikmin.
