1. Head to the Branching Route

New Pokemon Snap - Take One Please Step 1

Start Reef (Evening) at Research Level 1. Proceed through the course and take the Branching Route.

2. Throw a Fluffruit at the Farthest Lapras

New Pokemon Snap - Take One Please Request Photo

Wait for the Neo-One to get close to the farthest Lapras and throw a Fluffruit near it. Take a photo of it eating the fruit to complete the request.
