To get the most points from your photo, we suggest waiting until you are near the end of the Snowfields (Night) course where you can find a Swinub near the Crystabloom. You can lure Swinub closer to you using Fluffruit, but to take a 1 Star photo, you have to wait until it finishes eating.

Swinub Reaches the Top of the Slope
Before entering the second area of Snowfields (Day) at Research Level 2 or higher, you can find two Swinub attempting to climb the slope. Use your Turbo Boost to get slightly ahead of the Swinub and get a better angle for the photo later on. Toss an Illumina Orb at one of the Swinub and wait for it to reach the top of the slope. Once at the top, it will start to celebrate. Take a photo of the Swinub as it jumps for joy.

Upside Down
For a 3 Star photo of Swinub, go to the Snowfields course research-level 3. At the last part of the course, look at the cliff near the Crystabloom and you'll find Swinub walking towards the edge. Throw an Illumina Orb at Swinub for it to jump and land to the hot spring near it.
Once you get closer to the hot spring, hit Swinub with a Fluffruit until it spins over. Take a close-up shot of Swinub in an upside-down position to achieve 4 Star Diamond.

Anonymous about 4 yearsAlso, the is no 3rd level for snowfields nighttime. That's what REALLY threw me off. It only goes up to level 2.
