This is how you get it, I just did it. It shows on that area of the map because that's where it flies in from, frustrating, I know lol. Important side note though: If you snap a pic of him flying by the Hoothoot tree on his way to Magikarp, you'll still get it registered on the map btw, that's how I got mine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Got it figured; to get that location you need to hit pidgeot with a flufffruit at the start and at the trees by the lake, it'll fly away. Then hit the sleeping magikarp with a orb so it jumps. The pidgeot will be flying above the path by the hoothoot tree (where heracross and pinsir fight) take a picture before it flys down to grab the magikarp. Timing can be an issue, but good luck!
Same, does anyone know how to get it so I can complete my map? (If I figure it out before I'll post about it, but I'm stumped)
There are one Pidgeot in right of Heracross and Pinsir fight I can't find?
4 star pidgeot is done by feeding pidgeot berries from location to location then at the end of the level it will be happy and smiling at you. (Night only)
