How to Take Squirtle 1 Star Photo

Worried Squirtle

In Reef (Day) at Research Level 2 or higher, you can find a sleeping Squirtle on a rock beside the whirlpool. As you approach, the Squirtle will wake up and look worriedly into the spinning water. Take a photo of the Squirtle with a worried look on its face to get a 1 Star photo.

Sleeping Squirtle

As you approach the whirlpool in Reef (Day) at Research Level 2 or higher, you can spot a Squirtle sleeping on a rock beside the spinning water. Use Turbo Boost while you are still a good distance away from the Pokemon to catch up to it before it wakes up. Capture a photo of the Squirtle while it is asleep to get a 2 Star photograph.

How to Take Squirtle 3 Star Photo

Chased by Sharpedo

Near the start of the Reef (Day) course at Research Level 2 or higher, you can find a small island full of sleeping Squirtles. As you pass the small island, one of the Squirtles will stand up and jump into the water. As the Squirtle swims, it will eventually get spotted by a wandering Sharpedo. Take a photo of the Squrtle as it is being chased the Sharpedo in the water.

How to Take Squirtle 4 Star Photo

Round and Round

The 4 Star photo of Squirtle can be taken while completing the request Round and Round.

Throw a fluffruit near the Squirtle overlooking the whirlpool in Reef (Evening). Immediately after, a Wingull will swoop down to get the fluffruit, which will knock the Squirtle into the whirlpool. Get a close-up shot of the Squirtle going round and round in the whirlpool in order to achieve the 4 Star Diamond photo.
