Special edition contents will include the following:
The Special Edition of Metroid Dread is an excellent purchase for any long-time fans of the Metroid franchise. You get a strikingly designed steel game case, as well as 5 art cards and an artbook, which contain various artworks from all 5 2D Metroid games.
All goodies included in this edition are physical items, so the Special Edition is not available for Digital Purchase. The Special Edition of the game also does not include any additional in-game content or bonuses.
Metroid Dread Special Edition is only available in selected retail outlets and is not available for Digital Purchase. It also costs $89.99, $30 more than both the Physical and Digital Standard Edition of the game.
Metroid Dread Special Edition is currently sold out in all retailers. No word on when it will be restocked or if there will be a restock.
The Nintendo Switch OLED - Metroid Dread Bundle is available at select retailers. This bundle includes the Nintendo Switch OLED model and the physical copy of Metroid Dread.
The Nintendo Switch OLED costs $349.99 and the physical copy of the game costs $59.99 if purchased separately.
