The Chozo were an intelligent race capable of developing advanced technologies, such as the Power Suit and Arm Cannon used by Samus. These bird-like species were once a powerful civilization that sought to bring peace to all galactic races. Unfortunately, the civilization reached its breaking point and collapsed under mysterious circumstances.
After Samus arrives at planet ZDR, she encounters a Chozo warrior who suddenly attacks Samus with an Arm Cannon similar to hers. Despite wearing the armor of the Chozo, this mysterious warrior doesn't hestitate in its attack. What could be the reason for its attack on Samus?
X-Parasites are terrifying and lethal organisms that take over other organic creatures and mimic them based on their genetic information. First seen in Metroid Fusion, these parasite attacks were thought to be eradicated, but could they still be lurking on planet ZDR?
Metroids are extinct, floating lifeforms created by the Chozo to destroy the X-Parasite found on planet SR388. They attach to other organisms to absorb their energy.
ADAM is the Artificial Intelligence that controls Samus's gunship. This AI, is named after Adam Malkovich, a general in the Galactic Federation and Samus's commanding officer. Adam Malkovich first appeared in Metroid Fusion.
ADAM the AI communicates with the player in certain rooms of planet ZDR. He can give the player hints based on the data uploaded by Samus as you explore. However, Adam will not be guiding or telling the player where to go.
