Location | Burenia |
The Gravity Suit is located at the southern area of Burenia. It can be obtained after getting the Space Jump upgrade.
1 | Take the Path to the West of Burenia Use Space Jump to take the path to the west of the map and travel to the southeast area of the map. |
---|---|
2 | Destroy the Grapple Beam Block Pull on the block with the Grapple Beam to destroy it. This will cause the underwater structure to crash onto the bridge and expose the path to the Gravity Suit. |
3 | Go to the bottom left of the chamber. Go to the bottom left part of the chamber, just near the missile door. |
4 | Jump to the bottom of the chamber. To get to the bottom of the chamber, keep making space jumps until you reach the missile door. |
5 | Open the missile door. There should be a missile door just above the regular power beam door. Enter the chamber behind the door. |
6 | Shoot the item orb. After entering the chamber through the missile door, you should see a statue holding an item orb. Aim and shoot at this orb to get the Gravity Suit. |
You can obtain the Gravity Suit early after defeating the Blue EMMI and obtaining the Ice Missile upgrade by solving the Shinespark Puzzle in Burenia.
1 | Head to the Green Teleportal in Ghavoran. After defeating the Blue EMMI and acquiring the Ice Missile, proceed to the green teleportal using Speed Booster and Shinespark. Start in the room with the Energy Recharge Station and store a Shinespark before dropping down into the water. Jump forward, and at the height of your jump activate your Shinespark by pressing the Y button and B buttton at the same time (pressing the Y button to shoot will stop you from spinning mid-air). Continue right to the Green Teleportal. |
---|---|
2 | Reach Burenia and remove the Fire Trees (Enky). Once you reached Burenia, use a Bomb on the lower right corner to open up a path and use Ice Missiles to remove three Fire Trees (Enky). Proceed to the next room. |
3 | Solve the Shinespark Puzzle Complete the Shinespark Puzzle to reach the area with a Missile+ Tank. |
4 | Obtain the upgrade. After getting the Missile+ Tank, bomb the wall to the right and move forward. As you exit the tunnel, quickly return to your regular form and grab the ledge. Break the walls and remove the Grapple Beam Block to open a new path. Go through the Missile door and enter the Gravity Suit item sphere room. Aim and shoot at the orb to get the upgrade. |
From the ledge above the Energy Part, open the door and use the Speed Booster to break the blocks in the floor of the next room. Go back to the room that had the Energy Part and use the Speed Booster again, but store a Shinespark.
Drop down, slide under the wall in the next room and start shooting down to break the blocks. Activate the Shinespark in mid air and aim it at the ramp to the left. With the Shinespark active, slide under the wall in the next room and at the edge store your Shinespark again.
Drop down and activate the Shinespark mid air facing right toward the next ramp. Store the Shinespark at the top of the ramp, drop down and break the blocks for a Missile+ Tank.
You can now go through chambers with extreme temperatures without taking any damage.
You can now walk through lava without taking any damage.
You can now move freely underwater. The Space Jump ability will now allow Samus to gain height even underwater. The Speed Booster can also now be performed underwater along with sliding and wall jumps.
You have increased melee dash damage against enemies after acquiring the gravity suit.
After obtaining the Gravity Suit you can now move normally through water and lava. This will allow you to take the elevator from Burenia to the now frozen Artaria. Defeat the Chozo Soldier, and travel to Cataris to defeat Experiment No. Z-57. Once you defeat Z-57, head back to Artaria to obtain the Screw Attack.
