Keep Your Distance With Flash Shift
The Robot Chozo is equipped with thrusters and will want to battle you in close quarters as much as possible, use the Flash Shift to keep your distance while blasting it with Missiles and fully charged beams.
Once the Robot Chozo Soldier readies its red slash attack, you need to use Flash Shift twice to dodge it before it strikes!
Use Your Missiles
Firing as many missiles as you can into these enemies is the quickest way to take them down. They can also be damaged by charge beam shots, but missiles will be faster and do more damage over time.
Favor Vertical Movement for Safety
Despite having high speed when moving horizontally, the Robot Chozo moves slower between vertical spaces. Alternate between the top level and bottom level to make it harder for the Robot Chozo Soldier to catch up to you.
Deal Massive Damage with Shinespark
Although a bit harder to master, using Shinespark against the Robot Chozo Soldier will allow you to deal massive amounts of damage. For the first encounter, run across the lower platform to build up speed before Shinesparking into the Robot Chozo Soldier.
For the second encounter, you'll have to build up speed outside of the room first. Store your Shinespark then move forward to begin the battle, Hop back up to the ledge to be back on the same level as the Robot Chozo Soldier before shinesparking into it.
Robot Chozo Soldier Attack Patterns
Arm Cannon Attacks
Triple Shot
The Robot Chozo Solider will fire three slow-travelling bullets towards Samus. Dodge in between the shots.
Charged Beam Shot
The Robot Chozo Solider will charge up its Arm Cannon before firing off a fast-travelling bullet towards Samus. Be ready to reposition as soon as you see him charging his cannon.
Melee Attacks
Blue Slash
Without charging his blade, Robot Chozo prepares for a forward thrust strike. This move can be Melee Countered to recover missiles and energy. It will also briefly stun the enemy allowing you to continually blast missiles at it.
Red Slash
Robot Chozo will charge his blade with electricity till it turns red. He will then thrust forward unleashing a large slash with an explosive blow. You may Flash Shift overhead to get behind him to avoid the impact.
