Steps to Unlock the Cross Bomb Upgrade
| 1 |  To get to the chamber, you need to destroy the worm door. |

| 2 |  You need the morph ball upgrade to drop down and reach the boss. |
| 3 |  Destroy Golzuna to get the upgrade. |
| 4 |  Simply jump upwards towards the green slime to receive the upgrade. |
How to Get the Cross Bomb Early
You can get Cross Bomb as soon as you get the Ice Missiles.
| 1 |  Obtain the Ice Missiles from the Blue EMMI.Defeat the Blue EMMI to get the Ice Missiles and go to the Energy Recharge Station near where you got the Spin Boost upgrade. Use an Ice Missile to destroy the Enky. |

| 2 |  Perform the first Shinespark Trick.Once the way is clear, charge up a Shinespark starting behind the Energy Recharge Station. As you are crossing over into the next room, store your Shinespark. Shoot the Beam Block in the ceiling and lay a bomb down, then activate your Shinespark before the bomb goes off. |
| 3 |  Perform the second Shinespark Trick.Next, go to the Save Station to the bottom right. From the back wall build up momentum and again, just as you change rooms, store your Shinespark. Activate it to rocket straight up, then drop down on the right side to land before Golzuna's boss door. |
| 4 |  Defeat Golzuna.Defeat Golzuna to obtain the Cross Bomb upgrade. It's highly recommended that you have Flash Shift to dodge Golzuna's attacks. |
How to Use the Cross Bomb
Cross Bomb Controls
Destroy Obstacles in Tight Spaces
Some obstacles can only be destroyed using Cross Bombs. It can also destroy several blocks lined up either horizontally or vertically in a tight space, unlike regular bombs which can only destroy blocks in their immediate vicinity.
Where to Go After Cross Bomb
Go to Hanubia
After getting the Cross Bomb upgrade, the Gravity Suit, and the Screw Attack, go to Hanubia and then take the elevator down to Ferenia via the elevator. The Gravity Suit will allow you to traverse the cold room and the Screw Attack is needed to break blocks. Reach the Central Unit in the upper right of Ferenia and defeat the Purple EMMI for the Wave Beam.
