This is a guide on how to heal in Metroid Dread. Read on to know about Total Recharge Stations, Energy Recharge Stations, farming Energy from enemies, and the healing effects of picking up Energy Tanks.
List of Contents
Total Recharge Stations will fully restore Samus' Energy and Missiles any time you use them. To do so, stand in front of the statue until Samus interacts with it.
Energy Recharge Stations will also fully restore Samus' Energy, however they do not refill Missiles.
Upon picking up an Energy Tank or four Energy Parts, your Energy will be fully restored in addition to adding 99 Energy to the maximum amount. If you are low on Energy and see a nearby accessible Energy Tank on the map, prioritize picking it up for a quick full recovery.
If you are near a predictable enemy spawn point, take advantage of it and shoot the enemies for some health. Also if you are able to successfuly counter and take out an enemy, they will reward you with more health than if you were to kill them normally.
Additionally, after clearing an EMMI Zone, certain enemies that spawn in those ares will also reward you with more items upon their defeat.
Energy acts as HP in the Metroid series, meaning that when your Energy reaches zero, it's game over. Your maximum amount of Energy can be raised by 99 by collecting one Energy Tank or four Energy Parts.
