List of All Aeion Abilities

This page contains information on all Aeion abilities available to Samus in Metroid Dread for the Nintendo Switch. Aeion abilities utilize Aeion energy to give Samus unique powers such as the Phantom Cloak, Flash Shift, and Pulse Radar. Read on to learn about what each ability does, how to unlock it, and how to use it!

List of Aeion Abilities

Aeion Ability	Effects
Phantom Cloak	● Optical camouflage that renders Samus invisible ● Makes Samus undetectable to EMMI ● Able to walk through Sensor-Lock Doors ● Uses up Energy if Aeion is depleted
Flash Shift	● Travel at a set distance up to three times in a row ● Can be used on the ground and in the air ● Can be used to dodge enemy attacks ● Able to pass through Shutter Platforms
Pulse Radar	● Send out a pulse of Aeion to find hidden, destructible walls ● Depletes the entire Aeion Gauge in one go

Phantom Cloak can be obtain after defeating Corpious in Artaria.

How to Use the Phantom Cloak

Flash Shift

Location	Burenia

Flash Shift is located in a room above the underwater section in Burenia.

From the save station, dive down until you reach the bottom. Enter the narrow passage at the upper-right corner to reach the next area where you'll find a Charge Beam Door. Enter through it and make your way up to find a Missile Door this time. Blast off the covering and enter the room to obtain the Flash Shift Aeion Ability.

Pulse Radar

Location	Ghavoran

Pulse Radar is located at the northern area of Ghavoran.

Take the orange teleportal in Cataris to travel to Ghavoran. After exiting the teleportal, go through the narrow passages and slide under the sealed door to obtain the Pulse Radar.
