Key Strategies
Keep Your Distance
Battling the Twin Robot Chozo soldiers is exactly what it sounds like. Each Robot Chozo behaves similarly to the few you've fought already, but now there's two of them. Use the mobility abilities you've earned to keep a healthy distance between you and these enemies. As with previous fights, the Flash Shift will be useful in creating distance and avoiding their attacks.
Once any of the Robot Chozo Soldier readies its red slash attack, you need to use Flash Shift twice to dodge it before it strikes!
How to Unlock the Flash Shift Aeion Ability
Use Storm Missiles and Ice Missiles
Although you need time to charge, using your Storm Missile will make quick work of this boss. Create some space with your Flash Shift and wait for one to drop down before pelting it with a barrage of missiles. However, while both are still alive, it may be difficult to charge your Storm Missile. Ice Missiles are also effective and can even freeze a robot soldier if hit consecutively enough.
How to Unlock the Storm Missile Upgrade
Focus on Defeating One First
We recommend taking out one of the Robot Chozo Soldiers first to even the playing field. With one Chozo Soldier out of the way, Samus should be able to overpower the last one easily.
Twin Robot Chozo Soldier Attack Patterns
Each individual Robot Chozo Soldier, behaves as they would solo. As such, they will have the exact same moves from your 1-on-1 encounter with them.
How to Beat the Robot Chozo Soldiers
Arm Cannon Attacks
Triple Shot
The Robot Chozo Solider will fire three slow-travelling bullets towards Samus. Dodge in between the shots.
Charged Beam Shot
The Robot Chozo Solider will charge up its Arm Cannon before firing off a fast-travelling bullet towards Samus. Be ready to reposition as soon as you see him charging his cannon.
Melee Attacks
Blue Slash
Without charging his blade, Robot Chozo prepares for a forward thrust strike. This move can be Melee Countered to recover missiles and energy. It will also briefly stun the enemy allowing you to continually blast missiles at it.
Red Slash
Robot Chozo will charge his blade with electricity till it turns red. He will then thrust forward unleashing a large slash with an explosive blow. You may Flash Shift overhead to get behind him to avoid the impact.
