Version 2.1.0 Free Update Patch Notes

Survival Rush Mode is unlocked after completing either Boss Rush or Dread Rush. Of the two, Boss Rush is significantly easier beat. To start playing the game, press the R button while on the main menu screen and select Survival Rush.
Difficulty Mode Differences: How to Change Difficulty Settings

Survival Rush has similar mechanics to Boss Rush, but there is a time limit of 5 minutes.
You need to defeat as many bosses as you can within this time frame before the challenge ends, so bring your best Speedrun tactics to ensure bosses go down as quickly as possible!
Unlike in Boss Rush, if Samus is defeated, you must restart the challenge from the beginning, regardless of how much time you have left.
List of Bosses and How to Beat: All Boss Guides

After defeating each boss, your time limit will increase slightly, giving you more time to defeat the next bosses. If you defeat a boss without receiving any damage, you receive an even bigger time bonus.

Unlike in Boss Rush, both Samus' health and ammo are not replenished between fights, so it is important to conserve both of these resources. However, you start off with significantly more health and ammo in this mode, and you can still increase your supply by attacking a boss and its projectiles.
