This is a guide to amiibo functionality in Metroid Dread for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn about all the compatible Amiibos with the game including the amiibo 2 pack and Super Smash Bros. Amiibos, where to buy the Metroid Dread amiibo 2 pack, all Amiibo unlocks, and how to scan them.

There are a total of 8 compatible Amiibos with Metroid Dread. Each Amiibo can be used ro refill either Samus' energy or missiles once per day, while two of the Amiibos also grant a permanent effect.

The Metroid Dread Amiibo 2-Pack contains two Amiibo figures, which can unlock different in-game rewards when scanned. Both Amiibo figures can also be scanned once a day to receive an additional daily reward.
The Samus Amiibo figure features the same suit she wears in Metroid Dread. The first time you scan the Samus Amiibo you will receive an extra energy tank in the game, which increases your health by 100 points. After the first scan, you can scan the Amiibo figure once a day to replenish 200 health.
After scanning the EMMI Amiibo figure, your character will receive a Missile Plus tank, which increases your missile capacity by 10. You can scan the Amiibo figure again once a day to replenish 30 missiles.
Metroid Amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. collection have also been confirmed to work with Metroid Dread.
Scanning the Samus amiibo once a day will replenish life energy, while the Dark Samus amiibo and the Ridley amiibo will replenish your missile ammo.
To scan your Metroid Dread Amiibo, start your game and enter the menu by pressing the − button. Select Amiibo to begin the scan.
Scan the Amiibo by tapping it on the NFC touchpoint of your controller. On a Joy-Con controller, it can be found on the Right Control Stick, while on an official Nintendo Pro Controller, it can be found in the middle of the device.
Once the Amiibo is scanned, you will gain the unlocks that the Amiibo provides.
You can purchase the Metroid Dread Amiibo Pack from selected stores, including Amazon and GameStop. However, you may need to wait until closer to the game's release date before purchasing since they are currently unavailable in all stores.
