Location | Elun |
The Plasma Beam is located at the southern area of Elun.
1 | Open the Power Beam Door. After the cutscene with the X-Parasite, use the Bomb to make an opening and continue towards the very bottom of the area and open up the Power Beam Door. |
---|---|
2 | Open up the hidden passage above the wall. After defeating the X-Parasite at the bottom of the room, shoot the fake obstruction above the wall to open up a passage. Enter the newly opened passage with your Morph Ball. |
3 | Ride the Morph Ball Launcher. Ride the launcher and wait for it to propel you to the other side. |
4 | Open the Missile Door. Once you exit the launcher, you'll see a Missile Door to your right. Open it up with a Missile and enter. |
5 | Obtain the Upgrade. Shoot above to reveal an opening to the item sphere. Destroy the item sphere to gain the upgrade. |
With the Plasma Beam Upgrade, you can now deal damage to robotic enemies even without the charge beam.
You can now easily defeat enemies in close proximity with each other since the Plasma Beam can pierce through them.
Plasma Beam Covers can only be destroyed using the Plasma Beam. After destroying them, they revert back to regular Power Beam Door.
Once you have the Plasma Beam, head back to Ghavoran. You can now open the Plasma Beam Door in the large vertical room with the mushroom-like platforms. Proceed to the right and upwards until you reach a Missile Cover Door. Go through the Morph Ball-tube and bomb the blocks to drop down into the water, then hop up to the ledge. Use the Morph Ball Launcher in the next room to grab the Spin Boost upgrade.
