After Samus wakes up from her unconscious state, make your way to the first Network Station further east in the map where Adam will explain your current situation.
After speaking with Adam, continue traversing through the map until you reach a dead end. You will need to destroy the alien block on the upper left corner to enter the next room
Enter and drop into the room with the Damaged EMMI. Evade the EMMI and make your way to the destroyed Central Unit, and use the Omega Cannon to defeat the Damaged EMMI.
Once the Damaged EMMI is defeated, you can continue through the map, passing by a Save Station, before entering another EMMI Zone where you will first encounter the White EMMI.
Avoid the White EMMI and make your way to the west side of the map. Eventually, you will find the door to the Map Station. To enter the map station, you first need to solve a water puzzle.
To access the map station, you first need to solve the water puzzle. If you try to enter the map room before solving the puzzle, the water will prevent you from jumping high enough to reach the ledge.
1 | Take the underwater path to the right and continue along the path until you reach the second room, defeating the enemies along the way. |
---|---|
2 | Once you reach the second room, you will find a fake block. Destroy the fake block to let the water flow over to the other room. |
3 | After destroying the fake block, the water should now be low enough for you to be able make the jump to the map station. |
To find the Charge Beam room, you need to make your way to the southern area of the map by solving the water puzzle in the EMMI Zone. Stand on the plaform long enough to fill the pool beside you with water and slide down the narrow path to the right.
Watch out for the White EMMI as you are filling up the pool with water.
After sliding down the narrow path, you should find the hidden path to the Charge Beam below the door to the frozen room.
The Charge Beam opens up more areas of the map to Samus, including a few areas to the east. Your next objective should be to find the Central Unit. To do this, you first need to activate the Thermal Fuel Switch to the east.
After activating the switch, you can return to the Network Station and enter the EMMI Zone. After both obtaining the Charge Beam and activating the switch, you can now head further south of the EMMI Zone and acess the Central Unit room.
Once you find the Central Unit, you will need to destroy it to obtain the Omega Cannon.
Once you have obtained the Omega Cannon, leave the Central Unit room to face off against the White EMMI. Destroy the White EMMI with the Omega Cannon to obtain Spider Magnet.
The Spider Magnet upgrade allows you to access the path to Corpious, who is found to the east of the map. Once you approach the boss fight room, two Sensor-Lock doors will lock you inside, and you will need to battle Corpious.
Defeat Corpious to obtain Phantom Cloak, which you will need to get to the second area, Cataris.
Once you defeat the first boss, Corpius, you will gain the Phantom Cloak ability, which allows Samus to sneak past Sensor-Lock Doors.
Before approaching a Sensor-Lock Door, activate your Phantom Cloak and walk through. Do not deactivate your Phantom Cloak until you make it safely across the door.
After obtaining the Phantom Cloak, travel to the top right section of the map and reach the Sensor-Lock Door underneath a heat-room, as shown on the image above. This will let you travel on to the next map, Cataris.
