Super Missile is located in the southern area of Ghavoran.
1 | Exit the Elevator to Dairon. Proceed left until you see a green colored door. |
---|---|
2 | Use Bomb to reveal a hidden narrow passage. Destroy the block near the Power Beam Door and slide down or use the Morph Ball to reach the lower area. |
3 | Open the Missile Door. After defeating the flying creature, open up the Missile Door and enter. |
4 | Receive the Upgrade. Destroy the item sphere on the hand of the Chozo Statue and get the upgrade. |
Getting the Super Missiles upgrade early will require you to have 4-5 bars of energy (health).
1 | Head to the top left cold room in Dairon. This shortcut may take you a few tries, so make sure to save your game in the room above beforehand. |
---|---|
2 | Use your Speed Boost and then do wall jumps to preserve momentum.
From the bottom right corner of the cold room, activate your Speed Booster and do a series of wall jumps to reach the top. Take note that you will not have the Gravity Suit for this section yet. You will be taking damage continuously throughout the wall jumps. |
3 | Make your way towards the elevator then grab your upgrade. The hallway leading to the Super MIssile upgrade room is full of enemies, so be careful! |
Some obstacles in Metroid Dread can only be destroyed or opened with the Super Missile. These obstacles are usually colored green to match the color of the missile.
Super Missiles deal more damage than beams and the standard missile. Aim your missile at an enemy and launch it to deliver a devastating blow.
After getting Super Missiles, proceed to Elun via the elevator on the right side of Ghavoran. You can find the Plasma Beam in this location. Note that this item is required to get back out of Elun.
