Energy Tanks and Energy Parts increase Samus' maximum amount of Energy, or HP. By collecting these power ups, you increase your odds of survival.
Energy Tanks are located in different areas of the map, and usually require you to solve a puzzle or get a certain power up to access. It is recommended that you pick up as many Energy Tanks and Energy Parts as you can before going into a boss fight.
Upgrade | Effect |
---|---|
Energy Tank | Energy +99 |
Energy Part | Energy +99 (Collect 4) |
The only difference between these two power ups is that you only need to collect one Energy Tank to raise your energy by +99, whereas you need to collect four Energy Parts to get the same effect.
Some items on this list require you to use the Speed Booster and Shinespark to solve complex puzzles. Check out our guide for a list on how to do them all and get those Energy Tanks.
