Beam Upgrades

Upgrade Name	How to Unlock
Power Beam	Obtained at the Start
Charge Beam	Found in a hidden room in Artaria after destroying a fake block with the Klaida enemy.
Wide Beam	Obtained after activating the first generator
Diffusion Beam	Found in a room near Kraid's boss area. It can be obtain after defeating Kraid.
Grapple Beam	Found in a hidden room after exiting the North save station in Artaria.
Plasma Beam	Obtained by proceeding through Elun after arriving from Ghavoran.
Wave Beam	Obtained after defeating the Purple EMMI.
Omega Cannon	Temporarily Obtained from decomissioned Central Units.
Hyper Beam	Obtained during the fight with Raven Beak.

Missile Upgrades

Upgrade Name	How to Unlock
Super Missile	Found in a room near the elevator to Dairon.
Ice Missile	Obtained after defeating the Blue EMMI
Storm Missile	Lock on up to five targets unleashing multiple small missiles in succession.

Morph Ball Upgrades

Upgrade Name	How to Unlock
Morph Ball	Obtained after defeating the Green EMMI
Bomb	Found in a hidden room above the Total Recharge Station near the Dairon Generator.
Cross Bomb	Obtained after defeating Golzuna.
Power Bomb	Obtained from the Red EMMI.

Misc. Upgrades

Upgrade Name	How to Unlock
Spider Magnet	Obtained after defeating the White EMMI
Speed Booster	Obtained after defeating the Yellow EMMI.
Shinespark	Obtained after defeating the Yellow EMMI.
Screw Attack	Obtained after taking the blue teleporter found in Cataris.
Spin Boost	Found in a room locked behind a morph ball launcher.
Space Jump	Found in a room locked behind a missile door.

Phantom Cloak	Obtained after defeating Corpious
Flash Shift	Found in a room after traversing the underwater area in Burenia
Pulse Radar	Warp to Ghavoran from Cataris, and fall through the Pitfall Blocks at the far left of the room.

Power Suit	Obtained at the Start.
Varia Suit	Obtained after returning to Artaria from Cataris.
Gravity Suit	Found in a room locked behind a missile door.
Metroid Suit	Obtained during the fight with Raven Beak.
