Once you have found the shuttle to Dairon, explore the new area until you reach a set of rooms with a power outage. You will need to return power to the rooms by activating the generator.
After returning the power to the rooms, you can access the Wide Beam found slightly east of the generator room.
After obtaining the Wide Beam, return to Cataris to open up more areas of the map. On your way, you will also need to weave and dodge your way through the Yellow EMMI. As the fastest among the EMMIs, it will be very hard to outrun the Yellow EMMI. lt will be best to stay out of its sight using tools like the Phantom Cloak.
With the Wide Beam at your disposal, you can overcome more obstacles and open up a path to the Central Unit in Cataris.
Destroy the Central Unit to obtain the Omega Cannon and use it to destroy the Green EMMI and obtain the Morph Ball upgrade.
After beating Kraid and obtaining the Diffusion Beam, use the Purple Teleportal to travel to Dairon.
Once in Dairon, head to the Network Station to the south and talk to Adam where he will instruct you to reactivate another generator in Dairon.
The second Dairon generator can be found in the northwest area of the map, underneath the Map Station. Once you have activated the generator, this will restore power to that area of Dairon.
Activate the Second Generator in Dairon to restore power to the area. After doing so, the door leading to the Bomb upgrade room should now be active. Open that door and obtain the Bomb upgrade.
After obtaining the Bomb upgrade, head to the western area of the map and take the first shuttle to Burenia. Continue exploring Burenia and head further south until you reach a hidden room containing the Flash Shift upgrade.
With Flash Shift, you can head further west and take the shuttle back to Dairon. Head to the EMMI Zone in Dairon and find the Central Unit. Destroy it to obtain the Omega Cannon and use it to defeat the Yellow EMMI and obtain the Speed Booster upgrade.
The Speed Booster Upgrade will now allow you access to the Yellow Teleportal. You can access this teleportal by Speed Boosting into the ceiling blocks near the train from Cataris. Use the Yellow Teleportal in Dairon to travel back to Artaria.
After entering Dairon, you may find yourself at a dead end in area surrounded by Speed Booster Blocks. Just past the blocks, there a few hidden beam blocks on the floor. Shoot the ground to continue through the path.
Once you reach Dairon for the first time, you will encounter a series of rooms without any power. To progress through the game, you will need to turn on the power in this area of the map by activating the generator.
Step-By-Step Walkthrough | |
---|---|
1 | Make Your Way Through the Dark Rooms Travel through the dark rooms until you reach a dead end. |
2 | Destroy the Hidden Blocks When you reach the dead end, shoot the blocks below your feet to destroy the hidden beam blocks. |
2 | Turn on the Generator After breaking through the blocks, proceed through the next room where you will find a generator. Activate the generator to restore power to the area. |
After getting the Wide Beam, you will now need to go back to Cataris and beat the Green EMMI to get the Morph Ball upgrade.
Step-By-Step Walkthrough | |
---|---|
1 | Make your way to Cataris to fight the Green EMMI. With the new Wide Beam upgrade, you will now be able to open new doors and remove Wide Beam Boxes. Use this to make your way back to the Cataris Shuttle. |
2 | Make your way to the Cataris Central Unit. Again, you will need to use your new Wide Beam upgrade to access Wide Beam covered doors. |
